Stunning Property overlooking Lake Okareka

Lake View is the perfect place to relax and unwind with uninterrupted views of Lake Okareka. At the centre of New Zealand’s Lakes District, you can enjoy the many lakes, walk on the many local walkways, mountain biking just down the road or head into Rotorua for all of the world class attractions!

The perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the views of tranquil Lake Okareka or soak up the last of the sun from the back deck!

Spacious and modern two bedroom property (all bedrooms have balconies with views of lake). One bathroom and 2 separate toilets. Extra large living area…spacious for the entire family with large refurbished kitchen! Internal garage for car, bikes and sporting equipment (upon request) and ample space on the driveway for the boat! Plenty of indoor and outdoor space.

If you are looking for a “party house” unfortunately this is not the ideal setting for you as we are a family friendly bach!!

Feeling like something to do whilst staying at Lake View:

• Amazing swimming just across the road (30 second walk) or a minute walk to the Lake front jetty/ boat ramp!
• Walk around Acacia Bay to the Okareka Walkway!
• Walk around Lake Okareka!
• Walk to the top of Summit Road for amazing views of Lake Okareka and Mount Tarawera!
• Horse Riding for more amazing views of Lake Okareka and Lake Tarawera!
• Short drive to Blue Lake for a lazy walk around the Lake!
• 5 minute drive to Lake Tarawera for lunch or a coffee!
• 3 minute drive to Rotorua Mountain Biking Hub 2 - Te Pūtake o Tawa
• 8 minute drive to Rotorua Town Centre where you have world class mountain biking at the Redwoods or the endless tourist attractions to check out!

Beautiful Lakeview vacation home

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful house. The host lives right next-door, and was extremely helpful, giving us tips on where to go, what hikes they thought we might like and even offered to let us use their kayaks! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home.

Loved our short stay. Location was perfect for what we wanted, quiet but accessible, easy drive to Rotorua, great views of the lake and a very short stroll to the lake edge. The apartment was spacious, very clean and tidy and had all the facilities we needed. Many thanks to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful. We'd love to be back for another stay with the family in future.

Only a few minutes from Rotorua this place is a divine little spot. Overlooking the lake, in a gorgeous apartment with all the things you could possibly want. An absolute perfect place to stay, hosts were not intrusive- given they live next door always a concern. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Great location as we attended a wedding at Black Barn. Easy trip into town. Had everything we required. Clean and tidy with all amenities. Only suggestion is if you have small children it does have two sets of stairs within the home to be mindful of, deck has a gate which was perfect.
