Large Merewether 4 bedroom family home with a Bocce' Court- Outside pets welcome

Our Merewether home is in a tranquil tree lined street in a family friendly neighbourhood overlooking the beautiful Myamblah Oval. Our home is light, cosy, spacious and on a level block with beautiful native trees and birds surrounding. We have modern and comfortable furnishings. Quality linen and bedding is provided for you to enjoy a comfortable and restful stay. Our home is two story with four bedrooms located on the first floor along with living spaces, bathroom, seperate toilet and kitchen. There is a large rumpus room, laundry and second original retro bathroom downstairs. Our home is perfect for families or friends travelling together. We welcome children and it would be an ideal place to work from home. We have a bocce’/pétanque court in the back yard for some friendly rivalry.

Upstairs:

Downstairs:
Rumpus room with kids toys and games, laundry with washing machine and drier, retro bathroom including toilet, shower and basin. Good sized, enclosed, flat back yard, hills hoist and bocce' court.

The house is equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioner and room heaters for comfort all year round. We have fast wifi with unlimited downloads, a large flat screen smart TV and DVD player with children’s DVDs. We provide milk, sugar, coffee, coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee machine, tea and other essentials for a comfortable stay. You’ll find board games, a bookshelf with a variety of books and a blue tooth speaker for some relaxation and down time. Take a book and leave a book from the Myamblah bookshelf.

We welcome outside pets. Pets are not permitted inside as we like to keep the home as clean as possible for our guests. Your furry friend can sleep in the laundry at night time if necessary.

We are a flat 20 min walk or 3 min drive to the iconic Merewether Beach. Here you'll find ocean baths, a great walking/scooter/bike path, 'Surfhouse' cafe' and restaurant and the famous Beach Hotel. We live directly across from Myamblah Oval. A great spot to walk the dog and for the kids to kick a ball around. There is a great kids park on Winsor St- a 15 min walk/3 min drive. Local shops are on Llewellyn St- IGA, bottle shop, chemist, fruit and veg, post office, pizza, Chinese take away and Drift cafe'. These are a 15 min walk/3 minute drive. We are also only a 5 minute ride to the Fernleigh cycle/walking track and the Glenrock State Recreation MTB/bush walking trails.

There is a bus stop located within 125m of the property that provides links to Newcastle (city), Charlestown and Kotara shopping centres. We are a 10 minute Uber into Newcastle city or a 5 minute Uber to the chic restaurants, cafe's and boutique shopping of The Junction, Darby St Cooks Hill & Beaumont St Hamilton.
