We really enjoyed our stay at the property. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and kitchen was well equipped. We loved how close it was to the beach and to cafes/restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing location, exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. Close to cafes, beach, pub but not too noisy. Off street parking which is vital in a busy location. We had a great vacation and would happily stay again.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the great location near Merewether Beach.
The property is professionally cleaned before each stay, and our maintenance team confirmed all windows and blinds were working correctly following your visit. Being so close to the beach, some salt and sand in window tracks is unavoidable despite regular cleaning. And given the storms over the time it is hard to stop dirt, sand, and debris from collecting in tracks, the deck, and on windows.
We also note you had a few misunderstandings about the property layout and amenities, which may have contributed to the concerns raised. The single garage contains some remaining furniture due to the recent sale of the neighbouring property, but on-site and street parking remain available for guests.
We appreciate your comments and will continue to ensure the property is well maintained for future stays.

Beautiful property, great location. 2min walk to pub, beach & restaurants. Off street parking a bonus. Would stay again.
Fantastic location with the beach at your doorstep. Breakfast, lunch and dinner a two minute walk away.
Perfect for our group of friends but certainly a family would love and enjoy the location to the beach and ocean baths.
We were coming to Newcastle to pick up our daughter and thought we would make a holiday of it. It is a great location as it is so easy to walk to the beach. The place is fully self contained so it was like being in your own house but in a better area.
Fast and speedy communication with host. You’ll hear a touch of noise from The Beaches on Friday and Saturday night but nothing to worry about, would stay here again!
I stayed at Life’s a Merewether beach with my family and the location was fantastic. Lovely ocean views, close to surf club, beach and ocean baths. The unit is opposite a pub but even on Anzac Day we heard no noise. The host was quick to respond upon booking and during our stay. The house has all amenities needed to cater for a family. Garage was a little tight for a 4WD but we found plenty of on street parking. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back!
I loved my stay at this property. Across the road from the Surfhouse restaurant which was handy for dinner and breakfast. Our only issue was that the ceiling fans didn't work in the bedrooms. Maybe the batteries needed changing in the remote, otherwise everything was lovely.
This place is neat and its location is fantastic in close proximity to the beach cafes and the pub. Keep in mind that there is noise from the pub across the road. It didn’t bother us.
There were a few small things that could be improved in comparison to other short stay accommodation such as shampoo & conditioner, pegs for the clothes line and better quality sheets.
Great location, near the beach and all the amenities of Merewether. Unit was good but could use some TLC. Overall was a great place for our family, Pub was a bit noisy on the weekend.
