About this property

Your Luxury Mountain Adventure Home

Our luxurious mountain retreat has everything you need to pamper yourself, your family and friends! It has location, comfortable furnishings, room to spread out, great bedding, an incredibly stocked kitchen, level access garage, hi-def/smart TVs throughout, high speed internet, a private Jacuzzi to soak your tired happy body, and so much more! And most of all, the owners lovingly pay attention to the details, are friendly and accommodating, always striving to make your vacation special!!

THE HOME
This house sleeps up to eight people with room to spread out. The first floor includes a beautiful open floor plan with kitchen (unbelievably equipped for any gourmet meal prep and with all new appliances in 2022), dining and living area. The master bedroom suite includes a walk-in closet, and a second king bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. Step outside and there’s a private patio with your own Jacuzzi, built-in gas BBQ and firepit.

There’s a spacious two car garage with ski/board racks and room to store all the toys. Clear the cars out and it’s time for some ping pong with our championship all weather table.

Head up to the second floor and you’ll find a wonderful large family room with a 65 inch smart TV, DVDs, pool table, foosball, and stand-up arcade machine with over 4,000 games. There are also two bedrooms, each with two twin beds. A full bathroom completes the scene.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Our home is located in the Trapper’s Ridge neighborhood of aptly named Eden, UT. Renting our home gives you and your group access to all our community has to offer, including a beautiful clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, tennis / pickleball court, basketball hoop, and walking/ hiking trails.

THE AREA
Conveniently located near some of the best skiing in the world, your vacation retreat is about 10 minutes from Powder Mountain (Ski Magazine’s 2024 #1 Mountain in the West), 20 minutes from incredible Snowbasin Resort (home of the 2002 and 2034 Olympic downhill, and Ski Magazine’s 2025 #1 Mountain in the West), and 7 minutes from Wolf Mountain (family friendly with night skiing) Park City and Little Cottonwood Canyons (Snowbird and Alta) are both an easy 60 min drive away.

But winter is only part of the story. Hiking, mountain biking, golf, road cycling, water sports, motor sports, horseback riding, rafting, tubing or relaxing, whatever your pleasure – Ogden Valley offers it all. You are centrally located. Step onto the hiking trail just outside your back door and enjoy the stunning views of the Ogden Valley and breath the clean air. The golf course is 4 just minutes away and you're about 7 minutes from the Pineview Marina.

Do come visit and thoroughly enjoy your home away from home. You won’t want to leave!

The home was a pleasure to visit. Everything was comprehensive and well thought out, for example the kitchen was equipped with everything you could imagine. There was a book with instructions that was most helpful. The furnishings were comfortable and everything was clean.

Amazing August Stay

Our stay was amazing! Beautiful view from the patio! Kitchen was fully functional so I could prepare multi course dinners! Close to trails! Easy access to a pool with a beautiful view! We will definitely book again!

Relaxing family getaway

Thank you for a relaxing and fun stay! The house was perfect for our group and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. We had the community pool and the pickle ball court to ourselves and the views are amazing! A nest of wild turkeys hatched out by the house! The upstairs got a little warm and there were some wasp nests on the front of the house but we would definitely stay again and tell others about it! Thank you!

Awesome stay

The house was exactly as advertised and the bonus/game room was awesome. Our kids loved all the entertainment once we were done on the mountain. Also the garage was great - extra high clearance allowed us to park with our Thule box still attached which was an unexpected feature. The house was fully stocked which was so appreciated. We had some issues with the TV network on the first couple of days but Dave was super quick to respond to fix the issue and then we had no problems for the rest our stay. Convenient location and easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Family retreat

Our stay was Fabulous! The home is located just steps away from the club house pool and hot tub as well as the pickleball/tennis court. The home is filled with plenty of activities to do from pool table, movies, arcade games and a fire pit. The layout of the home made it feel roomy from preparing meals and eating to hanging out as a group in the living room or family room to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Parking was also spacious and easy. The home was great and the surroundings were beyond beautiful! We felt like we were in Austria with the snow capped mountains, lush green rolling hills, amazing views and flowers. We took advantage of that with lots of bike rides and walks.

This home was a perfect place for a relaxing stay for our family. We enjoyed all the activities at the house- game tables, board games, movies, hot tub. There were lawn games like corn hole and frisbee games we took to a park and played. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The community clubhouse and pickleball court are close to walk to. Hosts were friendly and quick to communicate. We would stay here again.

Eden summer

We spent an entire month in this lovely property. It is a real gem and the check in process was very simple. The kitchen was well stocked and easily supported entertaining visitors. The BBQ grill, fire pit, and hot tub made outside events wonderful.

The home was perfect for our family vacation! Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed to prepare meals. We loved the ping-pong and the pickleball. There were plenty of games to keep us busy when not at the lake. the back yard was perfect for BBQ and outdoor dining and the hot tub was clean and warm. What a great place, would highly recommend!

A little piece of heaven in Eden Utah!

What a fantastic way to spend our extended 4th of July weekend! This house has everything you could ever want to keep the troops entertained in comfort. The choices are almost endless: swimming at the community pool enjoying the view overlooking the valley, soaking in the private spa while BBQing on the back patio, shooting pool, playing foosball, reliving your youth playing 16-bit console video games, playing a plethora of board games, watching movies or just sitting around enjoying the peace and quite of this tranquil mountain community.Once you pry yourself out of this beautiful home and start exploring all the surrounding countryside you fully understand why this area of Utah is booming. If it is this nice during the summer months I can only imagine what a mecca for skiing and all winter sports this must be.Amenities: ACleanliness: ACommunication: AActivities: ACommunity: AWe would stay here again in a heartbeat. Little slice of heaven

We just spent a few days in this beautiful home in Eden, Utah, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed for a relaxing and fun getaway. From the pool table and foosball table to the arcade game, video games, and streaming TVs—there was entertainment for everyone.We especially loved the hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit for our evening hangouts. The community pool was a bonus, and the entire space felt thoughtfully designed and well taken care of. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making sure our stay was smooth from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Family Wedding trip in Eden

House was amazing, well appointed for a family of 7 and we so enjoyed the local town and close by markets and restaurants. Make sure to go to Mad Moose!!!The owners were very helpful, responsive, and check in and check out was a breeze.We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen as well.as cooking and dish supplies. We cooked almost every night for 7-15 people. Also appreciated toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and body wash.We enjoyed the fire pit immensely and the hot tub! We will be coming back!!!The wedding was in Ogden, so easy to drive for ceremony and reception.

From my young adult daughter: Dear Stacey, Dave & co. - Thank you for a great stay! First time in UT and we couldn’t be more grateful. We (the kids) stayed upstairs. It was paradise. My dad loved the arcade and we played board games, Xbox and chilled out after a long day on the slopes. I’ll just add a little more. Everything positive in the other reviews are accurate. Kitchen, hot tub, view are great. Location is great. We skied at Nordic Valley, Powder Mountain and Snowbasin (in order of least fave to most fave). Stacey and Dave are very responsive. Highly recommend!

The Absolute BEST!

We stayed here for a family vacation (5 adults, 2 kids and a dog) and it was absolutely the best stay. The house was beautiful, clean and stocked with with little things you often forget. Totally would stay again:)

Lovely, peaceful neighborhood

Thank you, Dave and Stacey, for the perfect getaway for a 4-couple’s golfing trip. It was very comfortable, and we took advantage of the pool table, ping pong table, arcade games, foosball table, and corn hole, when not golfing. Just wished we stayed longer to enjoy the barbeque, hot tub and pickleball courts. The kitchen was very well stocked. The views of the mountains and lake were spectacular, and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely for morning walks. Communication responses were extremely quick. This is a place we will definitely stay again.

Fantastic house in a great location

This house was exactly as described and just what we were looking for. It is the best equipped home we've ever rented. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, appliances, spices, condiments, paper goods, etc. There are games, puzzles, a ping pong table, a pool table, and lots more to keep you busy indoors. We really enjoyed the pool and pickleball court both of which are within steps of the house. It was a quick trip to the local beaches. We tried a few different ones and liked them all. Communication with the hosts was excellent! They were helpful and responsive. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Convenient to pool and beautifully appointed

We loved this house and all its appointments. High quality soaps, dishes, utensils, and fluffy towels. Lots of games, tvs, and separate areas all could enjoy. The outside had comfortable padded chairs, gas fire pit, and nice grill. The back patio was very nicely shaded with views of mountains and some views of the lake. We enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys and deer. There are gravel walking paths going from the house around the subdivision. Although there is a hot tub there we used the large hot tub at the community pool around the corner from the house. The pool was heated very comfortably and size was good at 20’x40’. There was adult swim time from 8am to 11 am which we happily took advantage of. We had a lot of communication with the owner Stacey and found her pleasant, accommodating, and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property.

Mini Family Reunion

The property was perfect for our family. It was close to extended family in Ogden and we were able to connect with everyone. We especially enjoyed the community pool. Nice neighborhood for long walks.

Great Home in Great Community

This is a lovely, very clean, very comfortable home in a great neighborhood for walking, relaxing, etc. This is the most appropriately stocked (and not overstocked) VRBO we've stayed in - everything we might need - dishes, serveware cooking pans and utensils, cleaning supplies, spices, extra canned food, sunscreen, etc. We loved our long summer family weekend with pool table, hot tub, grill, fire pit, and enjoyed local hiking. We definitely plan on rebooking, next time during ski season. Thank you!

We're Carol and Donna. Carol lives in Eden on the next block to this house and Donna lives near Lake Tahoe. We have been friends for 30 years and have each owned various rental properties in the Snowbird region. Donna also owns a 2 bedroom condo over at Lakeside in Huntsville and rents it on VRBO (483199). Before Carol moved to Eden, she lived in Salt Lake City. Carol would come up and stay at the Lakeside condo and soon fell in love with the region. So we bought this house together and lovingly furnished it for your comfort. We are seasoned owners and understand our guests' needs and how to provide you with the best possible experience.

Carol then decided to leave the city and move to Eden. She is meticulous in maintaining the property checking on it to make sure the guests have all they need. Donna still works but plays as often as possible, and loves to ski, hike and cycle and will never say no to a rafting trip. Donna will be your primary interface when you book, making sure all your needs are met. Carol will be your go to person if you need anything. You'll enjoy renting from us - we promise!

Why they chose this property

We were looking for a beautiful, larger property without all the stairs of the condos in the region and a garage for quick getaways on a powder morning. No friends on a powder day!!! We also wanted a property that could offer all the amenities of a condo, but more privacy. This property hit the mark. We have our own private Jacuzzi, and a community pool, fitness center and clubhouse. It is well located with quick access to Powder Mountain, Snowbasin and the golf course. And Donna especially loves the hiking trail right outside the door.

What makes this property unique

Carol and Donna both love to cook. The kitchen is a cook's dream - everything you want is there. We lovingly paid attention to every single detail when furnishing this house. Carol and Donna designed and made all the window treatments, and bedding to add that special personal touch. And believe it or not, we're still friends!
