Stroll down Voltaire street and engage all your senses for all kinds of delights and sights. Our studio is located in one of the most desirable areas in Ocean beach. Located 4 miles from the airport. No matter what direction you head, you will find yourself immersed in the pulse and grove of OB. Located only 3 blocks from one of the most popular beaches in San Diego and the famous OB Pier.

Stroll down to the beach, or mosey along popular Newport Ave. OB offers new breweries, fun restaurants, antique shops, surf shops, surfing, taquerias, and great sunsets.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or road trip destination!

There is no A/C but being so close to the beach, you get a great sea breeze, but just in case, there is a portable fan (stored in the closet).

Thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between stays and contact-free check-in.

Good location to everything you want to visit. No A/C but the time of year was breezy and comfortable. One coin washer/dryer to share with the building, but also a laundromat right on the same block. Bed was comfortable for me. I visited with my adult son, so he was able to sleep on an air mattress that we brought. The host was very easy to communicate with. Cost-efficient and worth the stay.It was a good visit.

The location is convenient and the hosts were very responsive. I did not think it was worth such high price point considering the lack of a/c, lack of fans, no view of the ocean, and no secure parking. People should be made aware that regardless of there being no a/c, there is no chance for any breeze or air circulation due to the windows facing a narrow pathway. The unit was 6-10 degrees warmer than the temperature outside and was very stuffy, so I spent most of the nights using ice cubes and washcloths to ensure my dog was not overheating.

This is such a great property. A short walk to OB. I do wish the bed was upgraded, it’s not uncomfortable, just could be better. Super clean. My 3rd time staying here. Convenient to everything necessary.

Communication with the host was amazing. That was some of that saving grace of this trip. When we entered, the property visually looked really cute. A little overcrowded with a big chair and nowhere to put your luggage. There was stuff inside the little closet that was available, which made it unavailable or difficult to hang clothes. Mouse droppings were found on the curtains and in the evening roaches coming up from the kitchen, drain. Hanging curtains over the bed not sure why as they were sheer and a wobbly fan to help with the heat. Not much airflow coming in from outside to assist. The location was excellent. The security door had a big gap from the entry into the place which I’m sure can invite others to seek shelter. Owner offered us one night free toward our next visit to compensate for our experience. Don’t understand how I got the rating it did as it was a 9.6. Our recommendation would be to get the huge chair out of there a couple luggage stands storage out of the hanging closet and removing the rod with curtains over the bed. Also would be a great benefit to this property would be a mounted ceiling fan or at least two floor fans to assist with the airflow. Due to the laundry/dryer on the other side of your wall, where the kitchen in the bathroom is more heat was obtained.

Nicely decoarated cottage with good basic amenities. A place like OB doesn't need air conditioning, but it was nice the cottage had a stand up fan so that it didn't get too stuffy. Great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach.
