Facilities as described. Beautiful quiet setting and location. Lake great for kids and adults alike. Local amenities are good and quick and easy to get into Mont Tremblant village and resort.
We enjoyed our stay, the real standout was the host and how easy it was to communicate and he was very accommodating and we really appreciated it. The setting was stunning!!

So glad you had a great stay. The pressure is always on when guests are staying over Christmas! Cheers.
Wonderful accommodations. Very clean, beautifully decorated and furnished, very well supplied, spacious. Excellent communication with the host, who was also very accommodating. I would love to stay there again.
This house was very clean and comfortable. It is very well looked after. It was easy to get to from the highway. It had all the amenities you could want or need. It was relaxing, but also had entertainment with a TV and pool table, when you wanted some. The dock was excellent, with sun all day from 7 am to 5pm ( late June). The lake was beautiful clean and quiet. The kayaks and canoe were a real bonus. The ventilation of the house was great, with large easy to operate windows. We barely needed any air-conditioning. Our adult kids enjoyed the hot tub. It was really easy to communicate with Stephen, who is a fantastic and very helpful host. We even experienced a deer walking past the house, near the Lake. We had a fantastic week and highly recommend this cottage. We plan to return.
We loved our stay at this property! It was the perfect size for our family (4 couples and one child) with multiple spaces for gathering - the main floor, the basement, the screened-in porch, and of course all the outdoor areas. The dock and lake were beautiful, with lots of very thoughtful touches - kayaks and a canoe, seating on the dock, etc. Very quiet but still easy to access Mt Tremblant and the surrounding towns. Thank you for a great stay!

Thanks for your kind words and glad you had such a great stay.
Stayed with family for a week. Beautiful property with lots of sleeping space and plenty of amenities to entertain two teenagers. Great communication from the host.
Perfect location for a multi-family vacay! Close to Tremblant if you want to go into the village- but also lovely to relax on the doc or kayak! Everything was perfect and communication was excellent!
Nice quiet location with plenty to do at the house and the surrounding area. Fishing, kayaking, lounging in the hot tub and swimming in the lake were the highlights. Would definitely consider staying here again.
As soon as we arrived it felt like home. The lake is beautiful!
Will be back soon.

Louisa's star rating seemed to be at odds with her kind words about the property, both in her review and separately to me via Text. When I inquired, her response was "No no! I meant 4 star" but she was not able to correct it after the fact.
The cottage was just as pictured! Plenty of space, the kitchen was beautiful and the hot tub was great after a long day of tubing or skiing. Steve was prompt, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Would love to stay again!
Celebrating a 70th birthday with three families. Very spacious with great common areas. The pool table and spa made the rain a non-issue.
Host is very welcoming.
We stayed her for a week mid July. The property was great and the water was so calm. I would definitely book here again.
The location was very close to St Jovite and the Tremblant village (10 minute and 15 minute drive) so it was convenient to do groceries or explore both neighborhoods

Thanks for your kind words. Glad you had a great stay.
We had a great time. We did not want to leave.
Just to mention, the house features are a bit out dated but somehow this adds a feeling of a traditional chalet.
Stephen was easy to get in touch with and was quick to take care of the few issues we had. The house was beautiful and just perfect for two families of 5! Would definitely stay again if we return to Mont Tremblant.
We had a great family vacation. Owner was very responsive to inquiries before and during stay. The house was well set up. We appreciated and enjoyed the Christmas tree. Driveway was plowed promptly after a snow fall during the stay. We did find that reservations were needed for most activities in the area.
This is a comfortable, large place on a beautiful lake about 12 minutes drive from Tremblant and St Jovite. It is well maintained and is well outfitted with all of the kitchen and BBQ implements you could need. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. There is a canoe and two kayaks which are perfect for paddling around the lake, which is want and clear in July. A fantastic, highly recommended place!

About the host
Hosted by Stephen Rowat
We're a middle aged couple who enjoy renting vacation properties when we travel as well as renting our one property in Mont-Tremblant for others to enjoy. As renters ourselves, we understand what vacation renters expect in a house, and we strive to maintain our property and amenities consistent with the pricing.
Why they chose this property
We've been skiing at Tremblant for over 30 years, and had been renting vacation properties for our ski weekends with friends many times over. One year, we decided that instead of renting, we'd buy our own place, use it part-time in the winter, and then rent it out when we're not using it. We wanted a house on water so as to entice summer bookings, and we wanted a place that we was close to the ski hills so that getting to the hills by 8:30am was no chore, yet far enough away to offer peace and quiet from the Village. We wanted a reasonably high end home that would be a real treat to our renters (and to ourselves!), and that was large enough to accommodate two families, or a group of couples.
What makes this property unique
Our house is beautifully maintained. It's located 12-15 minutes from the south hub of Mint-Tremblant, so we're close enough to the action, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. This is a year-round vacation property--great to enjoy in the summer with the lovely screen porch and the lake just steps away. Excellent in the winter with the slopes mere minutes away, and an outdoor hot tub to relax your tired muscles at the end of the day.
The screen porch is the best place to enjoy your meals in the summer. The lake itself is a 15 second walk out the lower door and down about 15 steps to the dock. There's a lovely sitting area at the end of the dock; but also one tucked into the woods should you need a break from the summer sun.
In winter (or heaven forbid, a rainy day in summer), the lower level of the house features the wide-screen HiDef TV and a pool table. Of course there's Internet WiFi enabling contact with the outside world (or should we disable this feature? ;-)
We're constantly upgrading the property. When guests mention a shortcoming, it's either resolved during their stay or shortly thereafter for enhancement suggestions. We strive to have happy guests, and take whatever action is necessary should that not be the case.
Note: we do have a dog who spends time with us at the chalet. If you are hyper allergic to dogs, please keep that under consideration.
