We enjoyed the comforts of home and the owners were easy to work with. Location great for pool and hot tub as well as a quick walk to gondola. We would stay there again.

Fantastic Place
This place was ideally located. Close to ski base, trails, and river. The unit was perfect with lots of room. Everyone had their own floor and bathroom. We loved the deck to relax during the day and watch the stars at night. The tennis courts, pool and hot tub were great and convenient. Great place!
Property had exactly what we were looking for space for teens (boy and girl) to have their own space yet have a family space for game night after skiing. Enjoyed ski shuttle, hot tub and garage.

Mountain bliss
Conveniently located to the ski base, a quick drive into town or just down the hill to get groceries, this well at pointed unit offers plenty of room to spread around for all of your guests. Well appointed kitchen, more pans and utensils than I have at home!
I highly recommend staying at this beautiful unit.

We loved this place
We loved 2784 cross Timbers. Its very near the base of the mountain. We were able to walk to places, which was handy and fun. Its also close to downtown. A short 5 min drive to Lincoln Avenue. The townhouse was clean and comfortable.

Great time late July early August
Things that impressed us: peace and quiet; friendly people; wonderful accommodations; terrific places to eat nearby, few household items needed but were readily available. We enjoyed the gondola ride and took the advice at the spa to see the Flat Top Mountain area. Three adults and 2 girls (9 & 12) all impressed with the Colorado and Wyoming scenery.
First time to steamboat. Wanted a place that could fit family with some extended familly. Had infants all the way through grandparents. This place had room for everyone! quick 5 minute walk to the mountain. Location couldn't be beat. Hope to make it back in the near future to use again, what a great getaway!

Jordan, we are so glad that our home was the perfect fit for you and your family! We can't wait to host you again soon. (:
Very easy place to stay in, some hiccoughs during our stay with the shuttle and malfunctioning hot tub. Property management was very responsive. The house is nice but sound definitely carries between the main floor and the downstairs bedroom. It would be great if we could’ve used the on demand shuttles but they don’t have an agreement with sky run, so just the ski shuttle. Also, the house is further from the base than listed, not really walkable with skis and boots.

The Best Week!
Our first ever trip to Steamboat was a magnificent success and CrossTimbers 2784 was the perfect homebase for our family vacation. The location provided easy access to everything we wanted to do and was more than comfortable for us to spread out and rest at night from long days of adventure. The spacing gave every member of our family of five their own respite from each other with great communal spaces for us to gather, relax, play games and enjoy meals. With Pickle Ball courts so close, we picked up that game as a family and loved it! The pool and hot tub were excellent ways for us to end the evenings under the stars. The staff was extremely hospitable and responsive to any questions we had before or during our stay. Come enjoy this oasis in the mountains! We created lifelong memories and know you will too.

Great service provided by SkyRun team
The original condo we booked had some maintenance work underway (deck was closed) which was not informed to us in advance, and the house wasn’t cleaned properly. That was a bummer when we checked in. However, when we connected with SkyRun team even during after office hours, we got immediate assistance and the team provided us with a replacement condo immediately which met all our criteria's and was within a mile radius from our original condo. The new condo was well cleaned, fully equipped and had nice deck with good views. Thanks to SkyRun team.

Condo review
Location was great. The condo needs updating. Carpet is stained and thread bare. The kitchen needs to be more cooking friendly. Bathrooms need attention. Didn’t see the need for not one but two artificial Christmas trees in March/April. Very disappointed in this Condo. Would not rent again.

Hi Patrick, thanks for the feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the location of our home but are sorry to hear you were disappointed otherwise. We will pass the message along to the owner that some updates would be appreciated. Had we known during your stay that you were not well equipped for cooking in the kitchen or that the tree was bothersome, we would have been happy to rectify that right away. Take care.
This is a nice place that feels like a home (literally- family photos, fully stocked kitchen. The location is a very short car ride to v ski village. It accommodated adults and teens easily and had plenty of space to hang out. Though it could get right if everyone is in the living space. The carpeting is in dire need of care as it is buckled in many places. There are rugs over much of the carpet which contributes to trip hazards. The biggest issue we had was with the main shower and the lower level shower and the hot water temp. The main shower needs a simple shower head replacement. It flows in spots and you have to lean and find a steady enough stream to rinse off. The bunk bed shower is DANGEROUS. There is a sign indicating not to use the side of the sliding shower door closest to the shower head. This means you have to lean in from about two feet to turn on the water. At that point you are either drenched with freezing water, or… you have to slide the side you are not supposed to so you can reach the shower head. We chose to slide the door a few inches. It is not properly installed (hence the sign) and is dangerous. The real danger is the hot water temp. My daughter was first drenched, fully clothed in freezing water as she followed the instructions. She turned the water to hot and it is scalding hot. So hot we had no choice but to slide the door. Neither of us could turn it off without getting hurt. This is true, of course, for all of the faucets and showers. Someone really could get hurt with how high the temp is. I’d really worry about young children bathing unsupervised. The mattresses could also use replacing.

Note as advertised / needs TLC
I am a very "go with the flow" person and actually this is the first time I have gone in depth to write a review. However, this stay had a few issues I am hoping the owners / property manager correct for future guests.
First off... this condo has no private shuttle despite the listing clearing stating that it does. To the ski area during ski hours, yes, but to anywhere else: no. That is one of the main reasons I booked this condo as those private shuttles to downtown or other dinner spots is key. I didn't find this out until the first night trying to get the family to dinner. Actually took two dinner debacle nights to determine this particular unit does not have the shuttle. Other Cross Timber units have it; different property management company is what we found the cause to be. I think the listing has been updated but be warned without a rental car you are stuck after hours.
The condo group of Cross Timbers is awesome. I have stayed here many times. This particular unit though has been a bit neglected compared to its peers, with pretty rough floor coverings and old, low quality bedding and pillows. The fireplace would shut off after about 30 minutes and the pilot had to be relit. For the price it definitely should have more upkeep and I hope the owners invest a bit in repairs / upgrades or lower the price for future guests.
Not quite the relaxing, enjoyable vacation we hoped for. The property management group, in their defense though, tried their best to help smooth things over but I think with some TLC on the condo and revised listing information they can bring this back up to par.

We are so sorry to hear that you felt your trip was not enjoyable. As we spoke about during your stay, the HOA has changed the winter shuttle hours this season, and we had not been informed. We are a small, locally run company and the larger corporation that runs the shuttle would not let us use the shuttle (despite the owner paying for it) since the owner chooses to use us to manage their property instead of the larger corporation.
Because of the issue you experienced with the shuttle, we were more than happy to call and get you and your family taxis to dinner, as well as refunding you a large sum of money for the trouble. We also had the fireplace repaired.
This home has been a joy for us to manage, and we as a small property management company pride ourselves on our level of customer service and care. We apologize again for the issues you experienced, but hope you understand that we did all we could to make you comfortable and taken care of.
Nice place, plenty of room, we really enjoyed our stay. No true complaints other then the hot tub and pool were listed as activities close by and part of the complex but came to find out they were closed off until after thanksgiving. A bummer but over it quickly. Very good location. Close to everything we needed during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. (Suggest providing a broom and dust pan for clean up!)
Comfortable and roomy accomodations.
Kitchen is well stocked.
We would definitely return.
