Brouse around the boutiques and dress shops or enjoy the local markets with fresh produce from the local area.
On a regular basis, patrons of both the Commercial Hotel and the Star Hotel in Milton can enjoy an eclectic range of music styles performed by local and visiting artists.
Milton boasts a number of galleries within the town. The Milton Cultural Centre incorporates the Millhouse Art Society with paintings by local artists on display;
Nulladolla Pottery presents quality ceramics and pottery; Shop 3 is a co-operative of four locals who can restore furniture, or create original art and glass works. The Milton Timber Gallery has quality hand-made solid wooden furniture produced from Australian timbers and showcases work by local potter Kees Staaps.
On the first Sunday of the month enjoy a relaxing afternoon of mellow jazz by local band The Escalators in the beautiful setting of Cupitts Winery, just 5 minutes from Milton on Washburton Road, Ulladulla.
The Milton Theatre is an intimate 200-seat theatre that was built in 1927 as a School of Arts. This beautifully restored theatre has played a significant role in Milton community life ever since, providing a venue for local theatrical productions as well as hosting live entertainment by Australian and international artists. Take a hike up toPigeon House Mountain which is a day hike that has it all. The reward far outweighs the short distance (5km return hike) epic views of the ocean, gorges and wilderness. Right near the town of Milton, its a wonderfully different way to explore this beautiful part of our area.
