ULTIMATE SUMMER GETAWAY - TOP RESORT EXPERIENCE

Nature is THE place to be, and we've got plenty of it here at Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort and Glamping Campground. During the spring, summer, and fall months POV Resort is a beautiful wilderness retreat. We have excellent fishing on North Twin Lake, whether you fish off our docks or further out on the lake. Crystal clear waters also provide expansive room for POV's water sports - swimming, tubing, boating, and water skiing as well as canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Either rent one of our boats or bring your own boat or wave runners for fun on the crystal-clear waters of North Twin Lake. Horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and on-site trails are just some of the activities offered on-site at the resort’s campus. And there is always the sport of relaxing on our great sandy beach! Nearby you’ll also find thrilling zip lining, waterfalls, and go-kart rides.

BATHROOMS & WATER

The campground boasts a air-conditioned restroom trailer with four private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. We clean it twice daily. A water station is available on the exterior of the bathhouse.

ORIENTATION TO GROUNDS

Nature and the deep woods are THE place to be - we are excited to host you at the resort! Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort & Campgrounds is open and following the state's health and safety directive for lodging and camping businesses, working to further ensure your stay is as healthy and as fun as can be! We have purposely kept our campgrounds rustic to minimize disturbing the woods - we took down as few trees as possible to keep the forest intact.

Glamping at POV isn't typical Northwoods seclusion - our campsites are cozy but not as close to each other as an RV park. We feel the amenities on-site and the beauty of the forest and surrounding area more than make up for the snug nature of the campgrounds. With this goal, there isn't enough turnaround for most RVs, travel trailers, and boat trailers in the campgrounds.

PETS

Pets are not allowed in the campgrounds to keep sounds to a minimum.

QUIET HOURS

POV is a family-oriented campgrounds, and we ask everyone respect the relaxing nature of the woods. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am daily. That being said, while we are in the national forest, keep in mind we are not a completely super secluded area where you won't hear anyone ever...

Cute cabin with lots of potential

Wish there would have been pictures or a better description of the outside of the cabin to point out it was a side by side. Some cabins share a fire pit and grills. Wasn’t completely what I was hoping for with privacy and a get away from the craziness of life.

We recommend Coady's POV!

We stayed for a week with three kids under five and Coady's was just right for us! The cabins were very clean - we felt comfortable letting our 8 month old roll around. The bathroom had a new-looking full bathtub and shower and all of the furniture and fixtures seemed brand new. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, appliances, dishes, pots and pans. (You'll need to bring all food items including salt and pepper and coffee). No cable, but the wifi signal was strong and the TV has an HDMI port. The towels were new and fluffy and the sheets and bedding were white and crisp. (BYO shampoo and toiletries) We loved the free boats and the beautiful sand beach. It's partially shaded during the morning, which was good for the kids. Our four year old jumped off the raft for hours! There were several other families with children staying at the resort while we were there and the welcoming community atmosphere was wonderful. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the lodge was a fun place to hang out (2 large smart TVs, two new couches, pool table, arcade games, juke box, board games, Kuerig, and general store.) On site coin-op washer and dryer as well. The playground in Phelps is really phenomenal. We also went into Eagle River several times and visited the beautiful library (free library card even for out of state visitors), the movie theater, and the children's museum. (Can't say enough about the Northwoods Children's Museum for young children! Our kids were completely entranced and cried when it was time to leave.) Many cabins are two connected side-by-side, so this could be perfect for families traveling together, or an intergenerational vacation, if you like having your own space. We recommend Coady's POV!

NEW OWNERS GENEVIEVE & DARREN In early 2018, we (Darren and Genevieve Coady) decided to go on a new adventure, take the plunge, and become America's next small business owners buying the resort formerly known as North Twin Lodge. We like to think of ourselves as caretakers of this wonderful resort that has and means so much to so many. So what led us here? We have had much experience in camping. And we know a lot about vacationing. Darren has run a community center that hosts events, and Genevieve has a background in community planning and economic development. We have a son, Oliver, whom we want to bring up living a good life - knowing hard work but enjoying the relaxation of nature. Bottom line, we felt it was time to do more to give back to others. Using our collective professional experience - thrown in with a dash of fun - our dream of owning a resort was born. When we found North Twin Lodge we fell in love with its history, its tradition of returning guests, and the lake. In October, 2018 we opened doors and haven't looked back. As for the name change, Darren's childhood home was named "Coadys' Point of View" as it was on the end point of an overlook. With the resort having a walkway on the lake out to the point on the property, the Coadys' decided to keep the name for their future home. Come visit the resort and become a part of the Point of View family - we look forward to meeting you and sharing in many memories to come!
