Because of its size the Garden House is much more than a cottage. Set amongst a beautifully manicured garden, this property has good outdoor space, and the kiwifruit orchard around it offers privacy. A good amount of parking and lock-up room for bikes if you want to explore the dunes trail. There is also room for the boat, as you can park in the loading area.

Set amongst a beautifully manicured garden, the Garden House is a little bit different architecturally and a bit `retro`, with a comfortable vibe. A good option for a group, and a good location to use for a base for day trips to explore the dunes, the town, and the surrounding areas. The house has several living areas - a sitting area, and also a TV/games room. Both living areas have a TV and there is also a TV in one bedroom. The property is all on one level with good accessibility and has a good outdoor living space/BBQ area. The kitchen has a central dining table, which can seat 10 and plenty of workspace. In the midst of a kiwifruit orchard this property is private and set back from the road, therefore a quiet and secluded place for a holiday.

Opotiki District Council operates a zero-waste policy. Guests are required to remove their rubbish at the conclusion of their stay and drop off at the Resource Recovery Centre, 38 Wellington Street, Opotiki.

You will need a car, also if you have a push bike bring them along, the motu cycle trails is down the road.

To ensure coverage for any incidental damages or additional costs during your stay, Bush to Bay Holiday Stays requires a $250 pre-authorisation hold on your credit card, which will be taken two days prior to check-in.
This is not an actual charge. The funds are simply reserved and will be released after check-out, provided the property is left in good condition and no additional charges apply. Release times may vary depending on your bank’s processing time.
If the pre-authorisation cannot be successfully completed prior to check-in, the reservation may be cancelled in accordance with our booking terms and no refund will be issued.
