Welcome to a great getaway at Lake Eildon. Its a two hour drive to escape the hustle and bustle.

LOCATION:
Situated on the Left Arm Taylor Bay
with deep water frontage even when the water is low.
Easy access to the house has full concrete driveway and ample parking .

Enjoy the full lake view whether you are in the kitchen, meals, family and main bedroom area, this getaway has to offer. Whether you are a fisherman, a keen Water Skier, a boatie that just likes cruising the waters, or the cosy winter nights this is where you'll find it.

This is a family holiday property. Not a Motel/Hotel Chain. Once you leave the Property it is to be left in the same condition from when you occupied it.
The property can accommodate up to two to three families.

This property offers five (5) bedrooms, There is a Bunk Room with five (5) beds. 4 Queen Size beds and a bunk in one of these rooms, Two (2) bathrooms, Plus a Toilet and basin in between two bedrooms ,Three (3) toilets, All bedding and Towels supplied (except Beach Towels) Ceiling Fans in all of the Rooms, Split System, Wood Heater, Fully Equipped kitchen, Coffee Machine - (Uses Beans), Microwave, Childrens High Chair, 6 Burner BBQ with separate Wok Burner, Washing Machine, Dryer, Dishwasher, Iron and Ironing Board, TV, Free Wifi, Hair Dryer, Extra Fridges x2, Industrial Ice Making Machine.

No Need to run your boat up on to the bank tie up to the day boat and a Pontoon, has a Swim Platform and a Slide. This is your home away from home.
No Tent Campers or Camper Vans/Caravans permitted. No Group Bookings.
This house can accomodate up to 14 people - Price is for 2 families/ 8 people - (4 adults - 4 children)
Please also note bedding will only be supplied for 3 nights or more.

Paradise by the lake

To start with Susie was great to deal with and very accommodating. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. My in-laws loved sitting on the deck watching their grandchildren having a blast on the slide on the day boat

Brilliant

Susie was very helpful planning the holiday and tips for the local area. We were advised that the driveway is steep. We found that it is too steep for towing a boat or trailer up or down the driveway unless you have a 4WD vehicle, even then extreme care is required. Apart from that challenge we had a terrific weekend.

A Place to Relax with a View

The property is full of wonderful views, was very clean, has 14 beds, 2 bathrooms and one powder room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could think of saucepans, dishes, 3 fridges, coffee machine, Ice machine, etc. The meals and common areas were spacious enough for our large group, 2 TV's one in the common area and one in the master bedroom there was DVD’s, games for the kids and toys for the baby’s. Alfresco area is well setup with the fabulous view, with a separate BBQ a and a cooking area. You could also see birds in the alfresco. The boat is an added bonus where you could have a picnic and could use the slide on the top deck to slide into the lake, the boat had life vest and pool noodle for the safety of the kids. The kids easily spent a day in the water. The road to the property has a steep fall and it adds to the excitement of the place, the property is only approximately 15mins from the Eildon town centre and 25mins to Snobs creek Falls. Susie was a pleasure to communicate with and very accommodating.

Fantastic property for multiple families

We were very comfortable here for the long weekend. The kitchen was well set up for our group of 12. Refreshing to have enough pots, trays, glasses etc. We have stayed at lots of places that accommodate 12 but not in the kitchen. The walk down to the boat was okay and it was nice to be able to use the houseboat to swim off etc. Sussan was lovely to deal with. We were advised beforehand on the very steep long driveway down to the property which was appreciated.

Merrivale Holiday House

This property was fantastic for our family getaway. The kids loved the day boat/pontoon, perfect to fish from or go for a swim. The entertaining area outside with its large bbq and ice machine and fireplace is perfect to relax and have a drink. Overall the house is clean and tidy and has some great features, we really enjoyed our stay.
