Surf n View - location and views

This great location on Camden Head over-looks Googleys lagoon with views of nearby North or Big Brother Mountain in the background. The house is an ideal get away for your next family holiday on the mid-North Coast. “Surf n View” is in sort walking distance to (leave your car at the house): the very popular protected Pilot Beach (including a kids playground), the adjacent and slightly wilder dog-friendly Wash House Beach (boogie boarding and great intertidal rock platform) and Camden Haven River breakwall (popular fishing spots at Trevor’s Corner and along the breakwall). A stroll across the road from the house reveals a hidden small beach on Googleys lagoon. Take advantage of the close proximity to the many headland walking trails through the Kattang nature reserve out to Perpendicular Point where whales can be seen during the migration period or a 5min walk to the Northern end of the extensive unspoilt wild 10kms of South Beach (aka Dunbogan Beach).

The home features an extensive partially covered deck with gas BBQ to enjoy the lovely lake and mountain views. There is ample living space with a full kitchen (dishwasher, microwave), laundry (washer & drier) and separate dining room to make this your home away from home. The house has 2 upstairs Queen bedrooms with views and downstairs a large open plan room with 2 King Single beds and TV (the house comfortably sleeps 5/6).

The property is surrounded by lush gardens, views of rainforest surrounding Googleys and an enclosed leafy backyard which is a great chill space for the family and visited by the occasional koala in the gum tree. There is plenty of off-street parking for car and boat including garage.

It is only a short (10min) drive to nearby Laurieton, North Haven and LakeView where there is a choice of supermarkets, restaurants, a lovely classic cinema, shops and cafes. The bustling city of Port Macquarie is only a half an hour up the coast.
