This sweet 4 bedroom home can accomodate 8 guests, with 3 bedrooms on the first floor; and the 4th on the second level, adjoining a generous bonus room. The property is set up for easy vacation living. At the back of the house is a private deck with seating and a grill. Enjoy dozing in the sun or cooking your favorite foods for al fresco dining. The property was substantially remodeled in 2019-2020 including new kitchen and bath, refinished floors and expanded deck, new furniture. Shower like a Cape Codder....in the new outdoor shower.

When we arrived at the property, we found that the house had not been cleaned (sand on the floor, dishes in the sink, no paper products). There was some confusion with the cleaning crew, who believed the property had already been serviced because a car was in the driveway when they arrived.When we reached out to the owner to explain the situation, she wasn’t super flexible with a solution. By that point, we had already unpacked and cleaned the house ourselves, as we were on a tight schedule with wedding events to attend.Given that we had toddlers, infants, and people working remotely from the house, having a cleaning crew come in after we had settled didn’t seem practical.

Fantastic Home!

Joanne's beautiful home is the perfect place to stay while in the Cape. The location is excellent--a quick and enjoyable walk to Paine's Creek Beach, past a cafe, some little shops, pottery galleries, and The Cape House Ice Cream and Fried Seafood. Everywhere else we wanted to go was within a 15-minute drive--bay side and ocean side beaches. The home itself fits 10 comfortably (the daybeds were perfect twin size beds for our two tall teenagers), the rooms excellent, the house nice and cool and very clean. The bathrooms/showers are great, kitchen and gas stove excellent, porch fantastic for relaxing with friends and family, and the barn/garage is such an excellent space. We played pool every night and had so much fun. Our teenagers loved it! We will be back next year and want to return every year after that! Awesome home and we couldn't have picked a better place!

A great family vacation-my husband and I, our 3 adult children, daughter in law, and 2 friends. Ages from 25 to 61 and we had our pups there too. It’s so nice to find a dog friendly rental. The location was perfect for us so close to Paine’s Creek Beach (which we have loved since the kids were young). We walked or rode our bikes there and also rode to the rail trail and Brewster Store. The location being where it is allowed us to easily access activities from Dennis and Yarmouth to Chatham, Wellfleet, and Provincetown! We enjoyed some local eating places…Cobies, Chatham Pier Fish Market, Ack Gioia, Cafe Alfresco, The Cape House and more.The Lemon Tree Shops are right around the corner too! The four bedrooms plus bonus area with beds served our crew of eight perfectly. There was a large table for dining and another in the kitchen where we worked on jigsaw puzzles. The pool table was an added plus. The bathrooms were nicely updated and clean. Some normal wear & tear of furniture & some cobwebs. We had an issue one afternoon with a water main pipe breaking and water was pouring into the basement. The guys tried to contain it, and Joanne responded quickly to our call and came to the house. It was remedied fairly quickly by the Brewster Water Co. Joanne generously gave us 250 toward a meal out for our troubles (which were minimal & the issue was unpredictable & not her fault). We were able to add an additional night at a great rate which worked nicely! Would stay again!

Beautiful, spacious home

Great place to entertain family and friends. There is a large table that seats 10 people and a beautiful deck with a grill. Three bedrooms downstairs and a bedroom suite upstairs. The home is bright, cheery and very clean. Central air conditioning, too. The owner is attentive and caring. And, it is close Paines Creek beach. It is easy to get anywhere.

Great spot

We had a great week on the Cape and the house was perfect for our needs. The two extra daybeds allowed us to have some flexibility with visitors, and we loved having two full bathrooms plus the outdoor shower. Lots of fun cooking in the big open kitchen, hanging out on the back deck, and of course spending our days at the beach. Joanne was attentive and communicative through the process of booking and planning the trip. All in all a great experience. Thanks for having us!

Spring in Brewster

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay in Brewster. The property was in a great location, the house was exactly as the photos show in listing and well stocked with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap in every bathroom and kitchen. The house was very clean this is of upmost importance to me and I was pleased that it was spotless. You would never know that this is a rental that allows dogs. (but we loved that it is) Some of our favorites eats were The Kitchen cafe for breakfast and lunch, The Marshside in Dennis for dinner (10 minutes down the street), Breakfast at Grumpys they offer fast service and wonderful food, and lastly The snowy owl for coffee. In addition there are plenty of gluten free options around, my daughter has an allergy and this was super important to us. You can check out foodwithkathrine on instagram if this is a concern to you she posted losts of local places that have great GF food (even fried seafood) The beach is within walking distance but as stated in previous reviews the main road Rt 6A is super busy and we found it safer to drive. Plenty of parking in May so no worries with driving. The beaches are so New England and picturesque! The outdoor shower came in handy to rinse feet and give the pup a bath. The deck and yard are nice to enjoy some sun and listen to the birds. The beds were all very comfortable and plenty of room for sleeping. I have just a couple of suggestions and minor things that I would note. the furniture in the living room is great for chatting or playing a board game but not the best set up for watching television. The kitchen table closest to the slider is really to big it blocks the slider and the flow to walk in and out and around table is very tight. My family and I would love to return in the future and we highly recommend this property.

Great location. Surprisingly quiet and private for being off a main road. Very roomy. Nice grill and outdoor shower! Deck was very inviting.I found the amenities lacking for this price range, for example, I had to buy toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. Cleanliness was mediocre, and while the host was willing to send the cleaners back, I wasn’t comfortable with that so I just did it myself.The code on the keyless entry was incorrect so I couldn’t get in when I arrived, supposedly the host messaged me but I never received anything, luckily she was available quickly and I received the code. So overall a little bit of a mixed bag. It is a lovely home and I’m always appreciative when someone allows me the opportunity to stay in their home, that said, the price should have guaranteed a little more ease, and a few more amenities. Sheets and towels are not included, which was not stated in the listing, and hopefully that will be corrected. It is, apparently, in the rental agreement, and since I made the arrangement the summer prior it slipped by me. The host did generously cover the cost of a linen rental, but I have never rented in this price range where they weren’t included so I had to learn the hard way!Perhaps, the next renters will benefit from my feedback.

Our family had a mini-reunion in Brewster and loved every minute of it at Joanne's property. The upstairs suite is especially helpful with the two day beds when you need extra space to tuck away and work or relax outside of the main living room. The youngest ones in our group loved the garage to ride bikes when it was too rainy out to be fully outdoors. The extra beach toys were an added bonus.

Family vacation

This was the second year staying here. Our family - grandpa/grandpa down to our new 1 yr. old grandson and dogs - thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. We loved having a home base to return to and relax in. The home as well equipped and in a very quiet neighborhood. Don’t forget to bring your own linens and towels.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful week down the Cape staying here! The location was fantastic, walking distance to family favorites each year like Kate’s and the Lemon Tree Shops, and just a couple minute drive from the beach we love. The house was comfortable and spacious and the big kitchen table was perfect for family board games while the smaller table was perfect for puzzles. The driveway was large and allowed for plenty of parking space for multiple cars. The owner was wonderful and easily reachable when needed.

First stay in Brewster

Location! Location! Paine’s creek beach was amazing for my parents (in their 60s) and little kids! My daughter (15 months) would be able to crawl around during low tide. My son (3yo) loved crabbing and walking miles out to the ocean. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. The outdoor shower was fantastic! Joanne was a phenomenal host, very responsive, helpful and welcoming. We loved our stay at Joanne’s beach house!

Paine's Creek Beauty

We stayed at Joanne's wonderful spot - 8 adults, 2 kids, infant, and two dogs. The house has central air, clean, a good basis for cooking a lot at the house. The house is walkable / bike ride to Paine's creek - albeit - 1 minute walk along a busy road so we drove with the kids - but Paine's is a child's dream. Watch the tide schedule and spend the day wading the flats. The sunsets are breathtaking. Great house, location, owner. We will be back!

This was a perfect house for an extended family vacation. Centrally located near many local beaches, restaurants and with easy access to main roads for further Cape exploration. Beach chairs included, beach toys for the kids, new grill, new blender, lots of great value adds!!

Beautiful

Incredible. Never been to Cape Cod. Brewster is a quaint, picturesque and peaceful part of Cape Cod. It’s a mid way point so you can go to many places without traveling too far. The area is so peaceful. We arrived and Joanne had everything set out about the area. The house was immaculate. Everything was above and beyond what was listed. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Joanne for a great vacation. Looking forward to going back again. If by chance you go here visit the Brewster General Store. Soooo relaxing with the locals and coffee.

A Home Away From Home

The house is bright, cheery and welcoming, just like in the photos. I had my siblings join my husband and adult sons to celebrate my birthday. We used to go to Brewster as children so it was very nostalgic for us. We had 6-9 people at a time and we had plenty of room. The house is well-stocked with pots and pans and dishes. The location gives you easy access to Dennis (lobster rolls at Sesuit Harbor Cafe), Chatham and the National Seashore. It is close to Paines Creek Beach for lovely sunsets and Breakwater Beach to walk the flats. And right next door is the Lemontree shops with the Alfresco sandwich shop on one side and Heart Pottery on the other side, on 6A. There is lots of seating in the living room, with two tables in the kitchen area and two tables outside. Joanne is wonderful and responded quickly to our questions. The house does not come with sheets and towels, so I ordered them from Cape Cod Linen Rental; David was a delight to work with. I would definitely rent this house again. It felt like home.

Lovely home and location for family get together

The house is absolutely beautiful and wonderfully comfortable and had everything we needed for our multigenerational family gathering. Paine’s Creek beach at low tide and sunset is a treasure. Great location. Would love to stay again if I have the chance.

Great house, great location

We loved our stay at Joanne's house! It was a perfect size for 4 adults and 2 kids and was a great location to access all of the Brewster beaches, restaurants, and more. We would recommend it to anyone!

It's a charmer. A classic Cape well sited on a quiet cul-de-sac off historic Route 6A. Two stunning sugar maples in the front yard are ablaze in Fall. The house is well-appointed for a comfortable vacation experience. Four bedrooms, 3 with queen sized beds, 1 with twins and a gathering area with two bonus daybeds for overflow guests. Beautiful Paine's Creek beach on Cape Cod Bay is just .6 mile from the house. Walking the flats at low tide is a joy. I couldn't resist owning a home so close by.
