A quiet summer home tucked off of 6A, adjacent to Nickerson State Park - great for hiking, biking, and swimming. Excellent location close to antiquing, shopping and golf, and 1.5 miles to Crosby Beach, with deeded rights to a private freshwater swimming pond (Owl Pond). Nice backyard, deck, fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and outside shower. Great for grandparents, parents and kids or 2 families! Air conditioning (window units) in each bedroom and in the living room, 3 cable TV's, and high speed Internet access and WiFi.

Sheets, Bath Towels, Beach Towels, Beach Gear (chairs, umbrella, toys, etc.) are NOT provided. Guests must bring their own. Beds are 2 Queen and 4 Twin.

Girls weekend

We stayed at the house so we could attend a weekend retreat in Orleans. It was a perfect location close to town but in a Quaint, quiet cape cod neighborhood. Easy check in, very clean. Connie was super helpful with our needs.

Everything was as described in the listing.Very convenient for attending a wedding at Ocean Edge resort.The upstairs and downstairs can be two separate spaces, which gave us some privacy while staying with friends.Connie was very responsive and did everything in her power to help when the wifi and internet went out.

Family wedding weekend

The house was perfect for our family and close to wedding venue and beaches. Our 3 year old grandson really enjoyed the closet of toys! Outside shower was also great. We would definitely stay here again.

Brewster Retreat

This was the perfect location for our getaway. Close to beaches, baseball, and restaurants. The main floor of the house with the kitchen and living room is on the 2nd floor. The cleanliness was wonderful and appreciated! We were just a short bike ride on 6A to the rail trail connections. The location and neighborhood is quiet and clean. The house is equipped with a full kitchen, plenty of living space and lots of games. It doesn’t have access to the garage but the covered space under the back deck was sufficient to lock up our bikes. We would 100% rent again.

July Visit

Our family had a mid week stay here in July and enjoyed exploring the beaches and bike trails nearby. We had children from 4 to 9 years old, and an active grandpa too and this house had plenty of room for everyone. It was super clean on arrival, had all the kitchen items we needed and then some, and was a close drive to outdoor activities. It was pretty hot and humid when we stayed so running the air conditioning was a necessity. There’s plenty to do nearby to keep everyone happy.

This home was perfect! It is perfectly suited for eight guest. Kitchen had everything we needed for our weekend visit. We were looking for a place near Nickerson State Park and this fit the bill perfectly! We were the first renters of the season and everything was set and ready for us when we arrived. Very comfortable, clean, and perfect location. We needed a place for the family to stay for a wedding at Ocean Edge. This was 2 miles from the resort and had plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds. We had a 2 yr old and there was a crib available. Close to food, beaches, and a great neighborhood.

The house was advertised appropriately and suited us for what we needed for a quick visit to the Cape for a family reunion - we wished the bedding was more updated/newer and there was a very musty smell in the house. Overall, it was priced fairly and when informing the host that we couldn’t be there on Friday night and only planned on staying one of our two nights we booked, they offered us to switch nights and that was greatly appreciated.

Our stay at hickory lane

We enjoyed our stay. Connie was very accommodating and pleasant. The house is good for 2 families with the basement finished with 2 bedrooms and a bath. We loved the morning light that comes in esp. When you have the front door open. Not sure if the blankets in the closet get washed inbetween renters. The queen bedroom upstairs the bed was very comfortable. The washer and dryer look new and work well. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and glasses. The neighborhood is quiet and close to bay beaches to watch beautiful sunsets. Perfect summer house

Long overdue family vacation

We had a lovely week in Brewster- my parents’ condo is just around the corner so we were able to spend lots of quality time as a whole family. The house was spacious and comfortably accommodated my family and my sister’s family. The location was great- we love Cliff Pond and it was neat being able to walk there if we wanted, as well as Owl Pond just down the road. The outdoor shower was really great after the beach, and the air conditioning was a must, especially given the extreme temperatures last week. One recommendation would be to place one of the fans in the doorway to the kitchen if you are cooking- it gets rather hot in there and that helps keep the cool air circulating. Overall, I would recommend this property to families who want a quiet, kid- friendly place with easy proximity to freshwater swimming and the bay beaches.

Great home for 2 families

The home was clean, and has all the amenities we needed. The only downsides were having to walk through the downstairs bedrooms to get to the laundry room and the kitchen being a passthrough from the basement bedrooms to the main part of the house. The home is set up well for rentals, as there are plenty of cabinets/closets/drawers empty an available to make yourself at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prep meals. The beds were comfortable, and the deck and yard were the perfect spot to enjoy dinner.

My wife and I have shared our summer home for rental for 20 years now. Many fond memories exist of family and friends gathering at 'The Cape'. Both our children grew up looking forward to our 'Cape' trips and thankfully still do. We'd love to have you create your own memories in our home as well!

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on an extremely private street and abuts Nickerson State Park. Easy drives to the beaches, towns, antiquing, golf, tennis, etc. The layout of our home offers a special level of privacy as each floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Over the past few years we've renovated our kitchen, replaced our outdoor shower, and rebuilt our back deck (my personal favorite space of the house...nothing like my morning cup of coffee on the back deck!).

What makes this property unique

Our home is part of the Robinwood property association. This allows us and our guests to enjoy the private kettle pond (Owl Pond) right down the street from us. A great way to wash off the salt water after a relaxing day at the beach! We also have direct access to Nickerson State Park as it abuts our backyard. A great place for a hike or nature watching.
