House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths
Gosh, this is an old picture of me. I used to enjoy pole fishing, and in 2004, my friend talked me into accompanying him on a fishing trip in his 16-foot boat. Dinner was great. Today, at 74, my interests are in rescue work with handicapped birds, a few rescued dogs, and learning to age gracefully on Ewa Beach Road.
Karen purchased this House in 1994
Why Karen chose Ewa
You are on the beach at Ewa Beach with the best view on the island. You can walk miles of natural shoreline. The weather in Ewa Beach is wonderful. The surf is gentle and the water is safe. Songs have been sung for decades about the Ewa Moon and our pearly shells. This is nature at its best.
What makes this House unique
The sunsets on Ewa Beach are so picturesque and relaxing. The sunrise is awesome. There's a freshness in the air and excitement as the day unfolds with discoveries of shells washed ashore during the night. It's fun to make the first footsteps in the sand.

Fabulous family fun
We came as a family to see our son who is stationed in Hawaii. The house worked out perfectly. Plenty of room for all, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Neighbors were great and owner was Very accommodating and understanding. Would differently recommend to others.
Great ocean view
Great ocean view.
We had a lovely time in the sweet cottage on the beach. We used the sand chairs and beach towels provided by our host and hostess. Our morning coffee sunrise and evening sunsets were stunning!
The only reason we aren’t giving this property a perfect score is because there wasn’t A/C (I somehow missed that on the listing). While it was clearly evident the owner was extremely thoughtful and provided MANY fans, a bed jet, etc., it just wasn’t enough to cut the heat and humidity of the summer and left us with restless sleep. Having said that, we truly loved this location and would definitely visit again in the cooler months, but would unfortunately choose another location in the summer....but that’s ONLY because of the A/C. The property was clean, the kitchen was well supplied so I was able to cook full meals, and did I mention the beach?! It was absolutely stunning! There were also board games (which our kids loved) and many movies (although we literally turned on the TV once to see if it worked and that was it, lol). We truly enjoyed our stay...minus the A/C.
Quintessential Hawaiian Vacation
Karen’s home was just perfect, she was a lovely host along with her husband. What more could you want then waking up to the beach and ocean their backyard. Their home was well stocked with all the necessary items in the house and for the beach. The beds were all very comfortable. Her neighbors are really friendly and sweet. Our daughters loved walking about five houses down to Silvia’s Store the neighborhood market to buy ice cream and snacks. It was also convenient for us to get ice and alcohol. My husband appreciated living like a local during our stay without the chaos of a hotel, elevators, walking a long way caring all the beach items, crowds and noise of Honolulu. We actually just bought groceries and enjoyed making meals vs. going out and that normally doesn’t happen during a vacation but we just felt so at home. It was the perfect vacation for our family and we know we will make it back to Ewa Beach in the future.
Excellent Get Away
We left the big city behind for a real Hawaiian experience. Aside from the rooster crowing literally at the crack of dawn (which didn’t allow for sleeping in), the property was just what we needed to find ourselves lost in Aloha.

Ku'ilioloa Heiau: It stands at the end of Kane'ilio Point. The Hawaiians used this heiau (sacred place) for navigation. It is the only heiau that is bordered on 3 sides by water. .
