This is our second stay at Railway Cottage and it never disappoints. Comfortable, stylish and well appointed. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Plenty to do in surround area

Moyne Experience

As you walk through the property you realise how wonderful it is and better than advertised. Great location, able to walk everywhere. People come to regional Victoria it’s a great experience. The only down side is that the property could have been a bit cleaner.

Four nights, cosy, comfy and warm. Ideal location, close to shops, dining, farmers' market and easy walking access to river and sea. Excellent heating. Very well stocked kitchen with plentiful appliances and utensils. Ideal for a group of friends spending a decadent long long weekend together.

Amazing getaway!

This cottage is the best holiday rental we’ve EVER stayed in. Everything is taken care of and it is stylish and comfortable. Location was perfect, being a short walk to a fabulous family friendly beach and the delightful town, full of cute early settlers cottages. Would highly recommend and I plan to return.

Perfect Position

I arrived not knowing what to expect as accommodation can look very different on the internet! Railway Cottage was overwhelmingly so much better than I had thought possible. Clean, spacious and excellent kitchen with all basics provided. Gorgeous sunny and private back area with paved courtyard. The location was perfect and my car did not move from the driveway. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an ideal 'home' for two couples with everything we could wish for, heating/cooling, facilities, equipment, space in bed and bath rooms aplenty and so clean and fresh. It is on our list for next golfing trip in this area.

An Absolute Gem

This is the most perfect place for a relaxing family weekend or holiday. The house has a wonderful, relaxing feel, and would have to be one of the best located holiday cottages in the beautiful hamlet of Port Fairy, being about a one minute walk to Moyne River, two minute walk to the main street and five minute walk to East Beach. Facilities are excellent, and the house has everything you could possibly need for a short stay or even longer. We have stayed at Railway Cottage around eight times now, and will definitely keep coming back. And the improvements that the new owners have made have given the place a great lift.
