The remaining 3 bedrooms are upstairs with a shared bath. Enjoy a cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate on one of the front porches (upper or lower). Located just one hour from Nashville, it is a good place to get away from it all. Approximately 14 miles from Downtown Dickson, you will have plenty of privacy on the property but enough activity that you won’t feel totally isolated. Relaxing Retreat
My friends and I cannot rate this property highly enough. We wanted a relaxing country retreat and we got one! The house is spotless, spacious and welcoming. The hosts have thought of everything. Checkin was easy and the one question we had was answered promptly. We enjoyed the porch, the patio, the sunroom and loved cooking in the kitchen. We have in fact already booked our next stay!

A great stay in the country
We had a wonderful time at "the farm house", which is what we called it in our conversations while we were there. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, private and quiet. There was plenty of room for our wedding preparations team, and even though you had to drive a bit to get to town, it didn't seem that far away from shops and restaurants. We had a great time, and we're sure other guests will too. Hats off to our hosts, they did a great job.

Thanksgiving Family getaway
Absolutely beautiful home and farm! The hosts are beyond accomidating. We had a memory making stay, the house had everything we could need or want in a farmstay. We met with family and had an early Christmas celebration and gift opening. After we left they immediately let us know of a left gift and offered to mail it. Attention to details and kindness was beyond expectations! We would definitely recommend.

Wedding weeding
The rental could not have been any more perfect. The house is amazing. The small details such as labels on switches and check in/out letters were so helpful. Great location for attending a wedding at the Ruskin. Thank you Kit

Beautiful property!
We rented this property while in town for a wedding. The house was extremely clean, well taken care of, but had all the necessities needed for a short or long term stay. The owners are fantastic and super easy to communicate with. They even took time out of their day to show our kids and family the animals on the property. Would highly recommend staying here and we definitely plan to go back.

When we visited this property in 2018 looking for a place to get away, we simply did not want to leave. We lived in the Farmhouse while we built our dream home, but in all honesty would have been fine to while away the days on the front porch of the farmhouse. We love this property and hope that you will as well.

Why they chose this property

We have found that we love the quiet of the country, but can be in Dickson in a reasonable amount of time. Fishing in the creek is fun and walking the 100 acres of woods (outside of tick season) is a great as well. There is a branch that borders the south side of the property and makes for a lovely walk in the early spring/late fall. Our animals love it here! We have two horses, seven goats, six chickens, a llama and a small dog. Never a dull moment around Carmels Landing (Named after my 24 year old quarter horse mare).

What makes this property unique

Working row crop farm - growing season from May to November. Creek access for fishing or simply a picnic by the water. Hiking in the back 100 (again outside of tick season). There is a pond located behind the Tobacco barn and horse pasture.
