Great property

We loved the home and the location of the property. The sunsets were amazing. The layout of the home was nice but some of the bathrooms need updating and the house was not cleaned properly which was the 1 thing I asked for when renting. I'm tired of rental companies not having the right staff to clean.

Sounds Great Review

The view to the sound was magnificent and we spent many mornings sipping tea and taking it in. Whether we did early morning yoga on the pier or put out camping chairs to watch the sunset, there wasn't a moment that the outdoors did not provide tranquility. It was a nice surprise to have the equipment rental credit and we rented kayaks for the week which was fun! The grounds, including the pool and jacuzzi were well kept and clean but I wish I could say the same for the indoors. When we arrived, we found dirty dishes/utensils put away in the cupboards and the carpets had not been vacuumed. The screen door to the main deck was in need of repair and wouldn't close properly, letting in a myriad of bugs. The house itself was very dusty with sticky tables. It's a beautiful house but I think the owners should consider changing the company from Outer Banks Blue to one that has a higher level of attention to detail.

Hi Amina, thank you for staying at Sound's Great. We asked multiples time about your stay and if there was anything that needed to be reported to us. Twice we heard back stating everything was great. We didn't hear about any of these issues until 5 days after your departure. We do have signs up that say if you see something please say something. While we do wish we caught these items during our inspection prior to your arrival, we would always appreciate a second chance to make it right by letting us know. These items has since been repaired and taken care of. We hope you stay with Outer Banks Blue again so you can see how good of a job we do in taking care of the properties we represent.
