Nestled in the serene beauty of Black Head is Cooinda Cottage, a charming retreat that offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

This internally refurbished, 3 bedroom beach house is sure tick all of your boxes. Being centrally located it puts you within walking distance of the local supermarket, park, cafes, restaurants, beach, nature reserves and tennis courts.

The bedding consists of one queen bed, one double bed & 2 twin singles, perfect for the family to get away. Linen is also provided to make your holiday that much more enjoyable.

Well equip kitchen with microwave & other essential cooking appliances
Brand new wall-mounted Smart TV located in the living room, compatible with all your favourite streaming services. WIFI is also provided for guest's enjoyment.
Ceiling fans installed in the bedrooms
Three way bathroom with a well sized spa bath
Downstairs laundry with washing machine & second toilet. Hills hoist clothesline installed in the backyard for easy drying.
Plenty of room to park a boat in the driveway if you fancy a fish

Cooinda Cottage was absolutely a delight to stay in. Neat, clean, tidy and comfortable. Easy walk to beach and shops. Easy to book and gain access. Good communication with host.

Extended stay

A breezy beach cottage to call your own

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few minutes walk to the patrolled beach, sea pool, lagoon, rock pools, shops and rainforest headland. We walked everywhere, including out for dinner and drinks at the Surf Club. The house is welcoming, fresh and light with birds that visit the deck. We had everything we needed for a beach family holiday with a well stocked kitchen for a big cook up after being by the sea all day.

The house felt gritty and grimey, the lounge felt really dusty, the second bedroom smelt of stale cigarette smoke and the oven and stove top would not ignite. We ended up buying some sheets so that we could sit comfortably on the lounge and I ended up sleeping in the lounge because the smell in the bedroom ended up making me feel sick.Felt like the whole place needs a deep clean to get rid of the dust, grime, cob webs and fustiness.Will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.The nicest thing was the tree by the steps and the morning sun on the verandah.

Very Dusty!

Spent half of our first day cleaning, bed side tables, under beds, under sink, cooker. Pillow protecters had to be washed before clean pillow cases could be put on.
