About this property

Lakeside apartment with boat ramp & jetties

Bring the boat and enjoy trout fishing on Lake Rotorua. Located on the edge of Lake Rotorua enjoy the privacy of a 3 bedroom apartment attached to the main house. The private boat ramp makes it easy to launch your boat and then secure it to the jetty during your stay. Enjoy the views on the lakefront or take the kayaks & paddle boards out on the lake.

We are only a 5 minute drive from the city and close to all tourist attractions.

A Four square supermarket, Indian takeaway, liquor store, Fish n Chip & Chinese takeaway are only a 2 minute walk and the bus stop a minute past the shops.

The apartment is self-contained. Downstairs is the lounge, kitchenette, queen bedroom & bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Upstairs is a bedroom with a super king bed. Then through to a bedroom room with a king single pull out bed, couch and a 55”smart TV to give guests more space. For the fisherman, at the back is a fish filleting table and a portable smoker is available.

We are available if you need anything and enjoy meeting guests or check yourself in with the lockbox if prefer your privacy.

Jeanna and Jim met us when we arrived. It was halloween and they provided us with a bit of candy for the grandkids who stopped by. The kayaks were out and ready for us to use and the accommodations were spotless! Jeanna even helped us book some local activities. We would stay here again with no hesitation.

Jim and Jenna were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a memorable one. The girls and I had a wonderful time kayaking on the lake. The bach was nice and central to all of the activities we were doing over the weekend and was a lovely home away from. We really enjoyed our stay and are look forward to more in the future. Perfect for what we needed

This place is special and would highly recommend if you are looking for the same things we were. Great base for family holiday with our teens, magic location with kayaking right on the lake, walk to the chippie, rotorua central attractions a couple of mins drive away. Kids had their own space and joint space great too. This is not super modern but is priced really reasonably and the host family are super lovely people and still left us with a nice separate space to do our thing.

We spent two wonderfull nights in your apartment. The recommendations on what to do around Rotorua (and what better not) met exactly our taste - we had a marvellous time at the Polynesian Spa and in the Maori Village. We would definitly come back.

Place was nice enough but some elements could use a deep clean. Although use of the kayaks was available - the way our two days played out we didn’t return to the rental with enough time in the evening to take advantage.

Host was on top of all documentation and getting the key to us. The space had everything we could have asked for and we wish time allowed us to get in the lake with the kayaks. One point we wish it had was a small AC unit but each bedroom does have a fan. I would recommend this and stay here again.
