Top floor unit has unbeatable breathtaking ocean views. Don’t be fooled by other condos with lackluster partial views. The view from this condo is spectacular as verified by the many reviews. With approximately 1000 square feet of living space with vaulted ceilings, this unit is second to none in the area and has everything a couple or a small family could ask for. Two bedrooms, one and a quarter bathrooms we are a few steps from beautiful sugar beach. Master bedroom has a comfortable California King size Bed, two end tables, large dresser and large closet for all your belongings. Second bedroom has two new twin beds, end table, dresser and closet. Both large bedrooms have ceiling fans and full floor to ceiling windows to allow the trade winds to flow through the condo during the day and night. The living room has a comfy pull out queen couch for an extra one adult or two kids. The living room is equipped with a full entertainment package including High Speed Wireless, a 60” Television, Surround Sound Theatre System, Phone Docking Station enabling you to play your own tunes, and a quality CD/DVD player. The Kitchen comes equipped with a full-size refrigerator with ice/water dispenser, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, cookware and dishes. Ice is invaluable in the Maui heat so the fridge quickly becomes a guests best friend. Load up your cooler with drinks and ice and you are set for the day sightseeing or beach going. The kitchen has most everything you have at home to prepare full course meals. Take advantage of the amazing Weber Stainless Steel Grills by the Pool to create restaurant quality meals. Fresh fish from the harbor or quality steaks from Costco are popular choices for these grills. There are two picnic tables available so the whole family can picnic/swim/cook all at the same time.
The dining area has a six person high table with six chairs. There is also a bar type access to the kitchen, so you can eat at the kitchen counter casual style or do the formal dining table route.
There is air conditioning for those hot afternoons when you return from the heat and need a break or nap. However, the condo has excellent natural ventilation throughout when the lanai sliding door, the bedroom windows and doors are all open. The winds of Maui whistle through very nicely being on the top floor. There is also a UV retractable awning which covers the lanai and helps guests escape the sun if need be.
The main bathroom is newly tiled and has a large vanity. There is a second vanity outside the main bathroom so multiple guests can prepare for the day simultaneously. There is a new Samsung washer and dryer beside the second vanity for guests to keep garments fresh and for extended stays.
The unit is located directly across from Sugar Beach which is the longest walking beach on Maui. Take a morning stroll along the beach North for a mile and enjoy breakfast at a quaint little Mom and Pop bakery. This beach is a favorite spot for Kite Board Surfers, Wind Surfers, Boogie Boarders and Snorkelers.
There are Beautiful sunsets every night one hundred steps from the condo door. Take your camera a beach chair and a cold drink and enjoy this sixty-minute real time slide show of the incredible Maui sunsets which are different every night.
The condo is central to just about everything. It’s a short twenty-minute drive to the Kahului Airport (OGG), Costco, and Target. Five minutes to central Kihei and thirty minutes to Lahaina this condo has the convenience of being “The HUB” of Maui. Central to the Road to Hana, the Haleakala Crater, Wailea, Lahaina this condo is the perfect location. Kihei also gets the least amount of rainfall anywhere on the island so you are sure to have the best weather Maui has to offer.
The condo comes equipped with everything you need at the beach. Chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beginner snorkel sets, towels, and a cooler for cold drinks and snacks.
There is so much to see and do all over Maui, we suggest getting a rental car to experience as much as you can during your visit. All major car companies are available at the airport or checkout Kihei Car Rentals for a more affordable option. World Class Golf courses (eg. Kapalua, Wailea), both public and private are close by. Shopping, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, groceries are all close by. We advise to buy groceries from Costco, Walmart and K-Mart which are conveniently located by the airport. We recommend you purchase most things from these big box stores to save some money. However, there is a nice Safeway in Kihei off the Piilani Hwy and Piikea Avenue. Starbucks is next door to Safeway for those morning caffeine fixes.
We look forward to every morning making coffee and sitting on the Lanai to enjoy the Ocean views, the birds singing in the trees only a few feet away. Sometimes, I will sneak out and zip over to Starbucks to get the family a treat before they wake up. Some of our favorite things to do and see have been checking out the Twin Falls on the road to Hana, Dragon's Teeth up near Kapalua, Snorkeling with the turtles on the thirty plus beaches around the perimeter of Maui. My favorite beach is Wailea Beach for fine sand and clear snorkeling and Big Beach for playing in the waves. (Be careful though as it can be a strong shore break as the lifeguards will advise). Also, hiking in the Redwoods at Poli Poli park, as well as Mountain biking. You can rent great mountain or road bikes at Cranks in Makawao and hit the many trails.
We also enjoy the great dining options including Kihei Café for breakfast/Lunch, Café O'lei, Momma's Fish House, Fat Daddy's Barbecue, Cool Cat Café, to name a few. If you prefer to cook yourself grab some quality fresh fish and barbecue by the pool on one of two Weber stainless steel barbecue grills. After a long day sightseeing or beach going, it is very nice to return to the shade and cool AC of the condo and to an ice cold beverage of your choice from your well stocked fridge. The pool and hot tub are a great way to have some down time especially with kids who enjoy a pool setting and can be monitored effortlessly from the many pool lounge chairs.
You can see the top of Mount Haleakala (Hawaiian for House of the Sun). It is a dormant volcano over 10,000 feet high. One activity we highly recommend for both young and old is watching the sunrise from the top of Mt. Haleakala. You can take a tour to enjoy the scenic drive or drive yourself and enjoy your independence, however you have to get up early around 3:00AM to get there in time.

Other recommended activities are: Maui Ocean Center Aquarium (optional scuba with sharks), the Maui Golf & Sports Park for kids, Pacific Whale Center whale watch or learn to surf at the cove, hike Iao Valley or La Perouse Bay, Atlantis or the Reef Dancer yellow submarine, Helicopter tour to other Islands and remote untouched areas, little beach (clothing optional), 'the road to Hana' or simply relax and spend a day at the world's finest spa close by, the Grand Wailea Spa. Then finish the evening with a traditional Hawaiian Luau. There is so much to see and do on Maui you can’t possibly do it all in one trip.
