Helpful owner, check-in quick and easy and lots of good tips on Galway. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable and in a nice location almost on the Salthill promenade, and a 24 hour shop very nearby.
Love the location. Would have preferred better communication prior to arrival as it wasn't clear until the day of how we would access the property. The apartment was nice, not exceptional... what you are paying for here is an amazing location.
This apartment was clean and cozy. The beds were comfy and the place is bright and lovely. It is an easy walk to the Seaside Promenade, the Latin Quarter and many fine restaurants and taverns. Check-in was easy, home was easy to find. We loved our stay!
Was satisfied but if you are from the United States you should keep in mind that their appliances are not like ours. Otherwise enjoyed our stay very much
This is the second time we have stayed. The first time was 15 years ago. It still has charm, perfect location, all the amenities needed ans a wonderful host in Sean.
We had a great stay, and the location of the property was really perfect for us. The Promenade was about 45 secs away, the wedding at the Salthill Hotel was a 15 min walk, and the town center also 15 minutes. Grocery store literally across the road, and parking was easy. The apartment had 3 rooms and a good kitchen dining area. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Perfect place for our families gathering. Very comfortable , clean and close to the prom! . The upstairs area is private from the main floor and is huge with two beds and bath. Main floor bedrooms were a good size as well. Nice grocery/deli across the street was really a plus. I felt the townhouse was nicer than photos show. We would highly recommend Gratton Place! Sean was helpful and answered questions promptly.

Overpriced.
The property was clean. There was limited hot water. It was over priced for what we got. It’s a great location. Information was not available at the property on how to use certain things however Sean provided information which was OK. The property needs to be upgraded if you’re going to pay that price with some added amenities at least to the kitchen
Needs updating. Refrigerator needs replacing. Upstairs bathroom needs updating tub had cracks. Down stairs bathroom had mold on ceiling in shower.

Just okay.
The location of the property was convenient to the Salthill area, but not within walking distance to the city center.
The apartment was dirty - mold in the bathroom and bedroom.
We were counting on the washer/dryer, but the machine in the unit was very tiny. John told us it was "for socks & underwear". The laundrette was just across the street, but it wasn't what we were expecting.
The property served our needs but the accomodations were quite dated and somewhat in need of repair. For example, one hinge of the upstairs toilet seat was broken. I'm sure the owner would have repaired if we had asked (as he was very accomodating) but we did not mention it as we mainly used the downstairs toilet. The flushing mechanism of the downstairs toilet was somewhat faulty as it sometimes did not flush properly. The sinks are rather outdated as there are separate spouts for hot and cold. Thus, one can wash their face with very hot or cold water but not warm water. These are not major criticisms, just comments to the owner for potential updating and repair jobs. We enjoyed ourselves very much and thank the owners for their very friendly hospitality.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist klassisch und einfach eingerichtet. Allerdings für 5 Leute etwas zu kleine Töpfe. Wir mussten sehr improvisieren. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche unten war etwas schwach, oben gibt es einen Druckverstärker.Top Lage für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und super Pubs fußläufig erreichbar sowie Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs. Der Badestrand ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt sogar einen Outdoor Fitness Parcours. Top Lager
5 friends on a vacation - great location / quick walk to town and very quick to the shore. Sean is wonderful - felt like a friend right from the start.
We had a great stay. Perfect for family of 4. Location was excellent. 20 min walk to downtown but lots of great pubs just down the street if you wanted to stay close to home. Sean was a great host. Thanks again!
