Walk in the front door to a nicely appointed and decorated large living room, dining room and a huge kitchen. Large screen TV with DVD player. Sliding glass doors open to a large screened in patio.

Laundry room with sink, folding area, washer and dryer with large closets. No need worrying about clothes lasting the whole stay.

Master bedroom - king size bed, walk in closet, with an en-suite featuring a large walk in shower. 55 inch TV with cable. Door leading from the bedroom to the screened in patio.

Bedroom #2 - Queen size bed with large closet. 42 inch TV

Bedroom #3 - Full size bed and twin bed. Chest of drawers with 42" TV. Also a comfortable chair.

We had a fantastic experience at this beautiful home! The decor created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were especially appreciative of the thoughtful touches, like plenty of towels, essential amenities, and coffee provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to relax and get a great night's sleep. Overall, we truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and can’t recommend this place highly enough! This the second time we’ve used this host. Both in different homes. There are not words enough to give them the best praise. You definitely feel like friends from the moment you meet Mary Lynn. Everything in the house was perfect, decorated for Christmas with great care and appeal. The home was meticulously clean and we even had fresh hot cookies delivered the first night! If you are in looking in this area, this is a must. We’ve already booked for next Thanksgiving. Definetly a gem

Beautiful house with everything furnished that you could think of or need. Owner and her daughter took very good care of us. Everything was very clean and organized. This is our second stay at this property and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

This will be our go to home!

Check in was seamless, Host was quite gracious! Rooms are spacious and comfy. Very clean! They thought of anything you might need, from beach towels, extra pillows, comfy throws for lounging on the couch and EVERYTHING you would need in the kitchen to cook your meals. Nice dining area. Private, Quiet neighborhood, yet close to convenience stores,supermarkets and Marinas. Will definitely be returning! It was a most enjoyable place to stay!

Very beautiful home, amazing hosts who are very kind and hospitable. The home had everything we needed and more. The location is near beautiful nature preserves, springs, and parks. Restaurants and stores are also in the perfect proximity.

Great Homosassa Stay

We have been stopping at The Freezer in Homosassa every year on our way south. We love the area and local restaurants and bars. Plenty to do in the area. We decided to make a 3 night stay and this house was perfect! The Hosts Joe and Joy were great. We rented a golf cart and the location is perfect for getting around. We will definitely be back!

Great Place Great Location

We have stayed with this host before. Great location, clean, and safe neighborhood. There is two places to eat and have a drink within 4 minutes walking. The Homosassa Springs park just minutes away. We will be staying here again.

My name is Joy and my husbands name is Joe. I was born in California and lived there till we moved to Homosassa when we retired. I was an engineer for the State of California and Joe was an electrical engineer. We have 6 kids most of which still live out west. Two of our daughter live next door to the rental house and we live 1 mile away.

Joe was raised in Homosassa and always wanted to return here.

Why they chose this property

My husband was born and raised in Homosassa, left for the service and when we retired we returned. This property was his grandmothers and having lived near by during his childhood it had so many memories that he just had to have it. As it turned out the house was not restorable so we tore down the original home and built a custom home on the same property. Since then we have build another home on the lot next door.

What makes this property unique

The beautiful huge oak tree in the front yard. They whole street has tons of oak trees. There is a grapefruit tree in the back that was there when Granny was alive. We have lots of wild life and birds to watch. The home is comfortable and very relaxing. Hiking trails close by. Garage parking and a place to park a boat trailer. Also we have RV parking with hookups. This is definitely what Florida is all about.
