16 Baringa Crescent is proudly managed by Batemans Bay Accommodation. From the moment you walk through the front door you will will feel at home. Situated on the cliff overlooking the edge of Mosquito Bay, this spacious architect designed two storey home takes full advantage of the sea views with full length windows in the lounge and dining areas taking in the panorama. The main living area has a wood fire to create a cosy winter atmosphere. The back deck has beautiful sea breezes in summer, and you can sit out the back and never tire looking at the ocean and cliff views. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, and a two minute drive to the boat ramp in either direction of the home.There is access down onto the rocks and beach below just a short walk from the home and tracks will be found everywhere. This property is ideal for a couple of families with a special kids bedroom downstairs there is plenty of room. It is in a very quiet street, so you'll only be disturbed by the gentle lapping of the waves and bird song. Beaches, are all nearby and only a short walk to the Mosquito Bay Cafe where you can get a fresh coffee and light meals. This is an original property, but well maintained.
Layout: Downstairs has a reading room that looks out across the bay and is a great place to relax and read a book. There is also another bedroom and a laundry. Upstairs houses another 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and the living/dining area. There's a good sized television to enjoy a lazy movie or two and a huge amount of room on the back deck. No wifi.
Bedroom Linen is included. This home sleeps 8 guests. Master Bedroom: Is upstairs and has a Queen size bed with access to a private courtyard. Bedroom Two: Upstairs, has a double bed and also has access to the private courtyard Bedroom Three: Downstairs, 2 drop down beds and 2 single beds. Bathrooms/Laundry Downstairs there is a shared newly renovated bathroom with a shower and toilet and laundry complete with, a top loading washing machine and dryer, (which is kept in the garage). Upstairs bathroom with a shower and toilet. Outside: The large back yard backs onto a cliff. There is a fence and the rocks below are not accessible from the property. As mentioned previously, there is a huge entertaining deck with a generous outdoor setting where you can sit and enjoy the views, There is plenty of parking in the driveway and carport or on the quiet street out the front. The driveway has enough room to park the boat in. The garage is not for guest use for parking. The BBQ is located on the back deck for easy enjoyment. Pets: No Pets Allowed. The views and light are extraordinary with a great deal of glass that even lets you see through rooms to the sea on the other side. It is big upstairs with lots of room for everyone and a wonderful fireplace. The downstairs bunk room is very small, but everything else is spacious.

The location was great, an easy walk or drive to the beautiful beaches and the Three66 cafe served excellent coffee and food. The views were magnificent and watching and listening to the waves was mesmerizing. The house was a good size and we had plenty of space for our family of 5. The toaster stopped working and the Agent promptly replaced it that day.On the down side, there were many dead insects on window sills, on the floor and lots of cobwebs so the cleaning could have been much better. The very large huntsman was an unwelcome guest too, no doubt coming in through the broken flyscreens.

It was a bit chilly at night, however we found the firewood the day we were leaving!The fridge is making some funky tapping noises all night long. The electric blanket in the main bedroom was placed under the mattress??The lockbox for the keys kept falling off the wall.

Mould everywhere. Got a refund and agent was good but shouldn't be listed
On arrival the home was wet and mouldy. Every cupboard we opened smelled. Mould on doors, kitchen bench wet. carpets wet.
We understand that it's been heavy rains but this seemed a significant underlying problem with the house generally.
Grateful for the refund process being easy. Was quite a disappointment for a long weekend away.
The second bedroom has a very strong damp smell. It was bad and didn’t go away.
The sheets and towels and everything was beautiful.
Please fix that damp so I will come again.

The house is very much like the photos, magnificent views and location and great fireplace as a bonus. It is ‘original’ house as mentioned in the description of the property but very well maintained. The kitchen and bedrooms are a bit old style and the downstairs bedroom has 4 single beds that are quite packed - good to know when planning who can sleep where.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved the area and we will definitely cone back soon.
Terrific location with wonderful uninterrupted views. Kate was so very helpful and a so easy to deal with. We were blessed with lovely weather (bonus) so we didn't need to make use of the inviting fireplace.
