La Chiquita is located in a beautiful garden of about 2000 square meters, high above the sea. A pleasant breeze almost always blows from the sea and ensures a relaxing climate even on hot days.
La Chiquita consists of a large living room and kitchen, a winter garden and four bedrooms (one with a shower) with a total of 8 beds, a bathroom with toilet and a second separate toilet. The house is cozy and functional. The equipment includes telephone, DSL connection with WLAN, German satellite TV, washing machine, dryer, stove with electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, bed linen, towels. The entire, lockable property is surrounded by a hedge and a fence and cannot be seen from the neighboring properties. The large swimming pool consists of two pools, one especially for children with a water level fluctuating between 30 and 40 cm and one for adults and swimming.

Overall nice location with good access to infrastructure (shop, road) and well maintained. Basics were around, thus only empty stuff needs to be shopped. Fits for five (max 6 ) people - might be difficult for 8 adults.Ants unfortunately everywhere but that’s linked to the area.

Great accomodation

We really appreciated the property. With a pool and barbecue, that's all we needed to had good vacations. The living room was quite spacious. The rooms were comfortable and with air conditioning. We couldn't ask for a better spot. And to finish, the house had an amazing view.

Perfect Family getaway

We spent 5 days in this beautiful house. Looks even better and more magical in real life. This is perfect for a family with lots of privacy and amazing view. Everything one possible needs is available, from coffee to grill to pool. Perfectly clean and well equipped. Highly recommend and we would love to come back again one day. Thank you!

Wonderful place outside Marbella

We really enjoyed staying at "La Chiquita". It had everything for a wonderful vacation. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because it takes about an hour to unlock everything in the house and you need to either speak German or have a translator because all instructions are in German. We were able to use Google translator and figure most things out.

Great family time

Had a fantastic stay with 3 generations of family. The house is at the top of the urbanisation in a quiet area. House is just as described, had everything you needed, felt very much at home. Lovely outside area. Car is recommended as I wouldn’t want to walk back up the hill in the heat. You can get an Uber if needed to the port area for about 7 euros.

Lovely house in a great area.

Me and my husband stayed with our dog for multiple weeks in La Chiquita. Our time was spent with some work and some vacation. The Wifi is great and therefore we had no problems to join virtual meetings. The view is amazing and the surrounding area very calm and relaxing. Due to beeing on the hillside there was a constant breeze which was very nice. The house is super cozy and provides everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beautiful garden is keept in great shape and not only us but our dog enjoyed to lay in the garden and get a little sun herself. 😊🐶 We enjoyed every moment and hope to visit La Chiquita sometime again.

Fantastic house… but…

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and functional house, which has a lovely garden and a great location with nice views, though partially obstructed by a power line. However, there were some issues that affected our experience: the outdoor setup lacked a table for six, the parasol was broken, and the dishwasher malfunctioned during our stay. The pool was also not clean upon our arrival. Additionally, the neighbors, who live there permanently, held loud parties with large speakers until late at night, making it difficult to fully relax. Despite these issues, the house itself has a lot of potential.

Thank you very much for your feedback. It´s very helpful and we appreciate you taking the time. We´ll take the suggestion of a bigger table for outside on board and find one asap. As for the parasol there must have been a misunderstanding because there ist a new and functional one, which might have been overlooked. Thank you also for bringing the noisy neighbours to our attention. The Urbanisacion has a very strict policy regarding noise and it mustn't be like what you experienced. We will get in touch with the neighbours and the Urbanisacion management and we apologise for the disturbance. As for the pool, we are sure you understand, that as it is located under some trees, leaves will inevitably drop into it. It is regularly maintained twice a week and between professional cleaning guests are invited to clear leaves of the water's surface if they wish. My family of 7 rented this property from 20-29 July 2024. The property is in a lovely upscale neighborhood in a hilly area, which lends itself to some beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. We chose this property for the amenities, primarily the pool, the air conditioning, and the number of bedrooms to support our crew. Our two youngest boys (11 & 8) had to share a bedroom, which they don't at home, but were so tired at the end of each day from playing in the pool, that they didn't complain even once! The photos in the listing don't show the fourth bedroom, which is a twin bed but worked perfectly for us. The bathroom situation was also different than what we were used to - there was one full bathroom with a bathtub/shower, a separate toilet closet (no sink), a sink and shower in the primary bedroom (with king sized bed), and a sink in two of the other bedrooms. The home is separated in two wings and is separated by a breezeway that leads out to the pool. The separate wings were great, as we could stay up late playing cards or visiting and the younger kids or others who wanted to sleep could do so without being bothered. The kitchen was smaller but had everything we needed, and we cooked several meals during our stay. We did encounter one issue with the water but the host responded quickly and it was resolved within a day. We were sad to leave the property when our stay was over as we made lots of great memories and the home was the perfect backdrop.

Wunderbar zum entspannen

Ein wirklich wundervolles Haus zum entspannen und Ruhe genießen. Es hat einen wirklich super Ausblick. Egal ob vom Pool, im Pool von der kleinen Chill Ecke oder dem Grill Platz. Von überall kann man das Meer erblicken. Das Haus ist zwar nicht modern eingerichtet, aber mit sehr viel Charme und liebe. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden.

Fantastisches Ferienhaus

Wir hatten eine hervorragende Zeit in Marbella. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war ausgezeichnet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an Nichts. Besonders zu erwähnen sind der fantastische (Meer) Blick, der Pool, sowie die bequemen Betten. Die sehr gut sortierte Hausbibliothek hat sogar die Kinder zum Lesen animiert. In der Übergangszeit ist der Kamin eine wahre Freude. Wir kommen sicherlich einmal wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Maravillosa experiencia

Hemos disfrutado de unos días super agradables en La Chiquita, que además de ser una casa grande y cómoda, está emplazada en lo alto de la urbanización de manera que puedes disfrutar de una vistas al mar privilegiadas mientras estás en la piscina. Además dispone de un gran jardín muy bien cuidado, donde hemos podido comer y cenar y jugar con nuestro perro que se lo ha pasado en grande. La casa está decorada con buen gusto y equipada con todo tipo de utensilios y electrodomésticos necesarios, esto es muy práctico ya que es como estar en tu propia casa, hay de todo. Y Friederike, ha sido muy amable y ha respondido siempre muy rápido cada vez que hemos querido preguntarle algo. En resumen, una elección muy recomendable y una casa maravillosa. Volveremos!!

Good views, cozy house with great rooms, beds and floorplan. Very safe and affluent area.

All in all a great house. We have been in Andalusia many times, but this house was by far the most cozy inside with good dining and relaxation areas, very good beds and a good floor plan. Appliances etc was all quality stuff, making cooking, etc. a joy. The views from the property are great and the divided pool is good for children! Communication with Friderike is outstanding - fast, clear and easy to understand. Only downsides was limited evening sun and that the pool guy only came once a week. It was somewhat windy during our stay (may) and the pool filled up with debree very fast, despite cleaning 1-2 times a day. It could be the season.
