About this property

New Beachhouse On The Bluffs - Panoramic Ocean Views

This beautiful home offers new construction with attention to detail and design and the finest amenities. It is decorated in a "beach house theme" which reflects the beach atmosphere and invites guests to enjoy the feeling of relaxation and comfort of the oceanfront setting.

The main living area has a large flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen with large granite counter and seating for up to 8 guests, and two decks overlooking the panoramic ocean view. From the decks, guests can watch the ever-changing ocean scene, from dolphins, whales and pelicans, to surfers, kayakers and stand-up paddle boarders. The backyard area is a dedicated wetland restoration area planted with California native plants.

The Master Bedroom has a king size bed and large private bath. Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with 2 twin beds, as well as two full bathrooms. The third floor is a large private studio, and sitting area with queen size futon, and a large hardwood floor area big enough for yoga practice or exercise, a full bathroom, and an outside deck with expansive views.

The sand is just a few steps away, down a sturdy set of stairs. The beach is great for exploring tide pools, swimming, kayaking and surfing. If you do not have your own board or kayak, nearby Goleta Beach has board and kayak rentals, in addition to offering pier fishing.

If you are attending a special event at UCSB or the Bacara Resort, this is the perfect place to stay. Close to the airport, UCSB, Sandpiper Golf Course, the Bacara, the new first-class ice skating rink, and more, the house is located in the residential West Village of Isla Vista. It is just a few doors away from the West Campus Bluff Trail, which is a segment of the California Coastal Trail. This segment runs from the western edge of Isla Vista to Coal Oil Point Reserve in Santa Barbara County. The West Campus Bluffs is being restored to its original natural habitat.

Very nice property with a buautiful and peaceful view. Our instructions stated there were Isla Vista restrictions about loud parties after 10 pm, but there was a rager up the street until 2:30 am, and loud goings-on right next door. All that said, overall the stay was very enjoyable.

Great location and views
This property is right next to the beach and offers views that anyone could become lost in for hours on end. The house is very spacious and the neighborhood was full of fun young adults having the time of their lives. Very enjoyable.

We have lived in Santa Barbara for over 50 years, and have always loved the ocean. We had an opportunity to build a house on the bluffs so we took it. It took many many years to actually realize completion of this home, but we now feel we have created something that others will enjoy as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

The expansive and breathtaking ocean views are the first thing you notice when entering the main level of the beach house. A feeling of peace and serenity take over as you take in the views and amazing setting.
