The host was very welcoming and responsive. The home is very comfortable and the views of the mountains are outstanding. Kitchen was well-stocked. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well-appointed. I would have preferred better window treatments in the bedrooms to keep the early morning light at bay (to sleep in if desired). There were signs of ongoing repairs/remodels which detracted from our experience. My granddaughter scraped her food on a nail sticking out of the base board. I do feel that the parking for a home that holds 10 people was inadequate and I wish I had been warned about this before I made the reservation. But overall, it is a beautiful home in a beautiful location so I can overlook some inconvenience.

Great house, beautiful views

Stayed for three nights with some friends. Host was very responsive with any questions we had. The views were beautiful. The house had everything we needed and felt very secluded and quiet. It was about a ten minute drive to the downtown area. Highly recommend.

From the first communication with Andrea we knew this would be a fabulous trip, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful home, well appointed, easy to access and really stunning private views. The host did not respond to my 2/6 message about having a catered dinner for 15 on 2/13. Caterer booked. When checking in, she agreed that was okay, then at 8:30 the eve before she sent a text saying no.The house listing encourages bringing in a private chef. To be told this last minute ruined my night and caused me to scramble for a new place as caterer was paid.Remodel obviously not finished throughout the house. The amenities throughout were a mess. This house was not ready to be rented. We felt stuck as we were in town for a wedding with nowhere else to go on short notice. The issues with the house: (1) Broken bedframe, (2) outlets and switches not working through the house, (3) washer and dryer were not hooked up and had to use up extension cords draping across the hallway to get the machine to work to be able to wash towels as requested by host, (4) master bedroom had locked closets.Was told to hang clothes downstairs as other bedrooms were in use. (5) Blue painters tape, putty, supplies stacked outside the house. Packages arrived daily with more supplies. 6) Lighting fixtures missing from ceiling and had exposed wires. Holes in walls. No outdoor lighting from very dark parking pathway to front door. (6) Downstairs bathroom did not drain, flooding bath and causing handicapped person to slip. She could not take any more showers while there as can't climb stairs. 7) New driveway not tied into road, deep gap, causing our rental cars to scrape badly.
One of many light and outlets that didn't work. Thought was charging phones-next morning--no charge happened.
Flooded downstairs shower--no drainage. Handicapped person had to call for help and was embarrased that two people had to come in.
Flooded shower, secong photos--see ripples--flooded whole bath and into kitchen. What a mess to clean up.

Lovely Haven

Our family convened for a memorial service for a dear friend and had considered a couple of hotel rooms, but I'm so glad we booked this lovely place. Andrea was very responsive. The house itself was clearn and comfortably decorated; the outdoor setting was relaxing and beautful, We weren't there long enough to cook, but it looked like the kitchen was well stocked, and there were lovely touches like soap in the bathrooms and snacks on the counter. And in the evenings, it was so nice to be together watching television, having a cup of tea and visiting together in such a lovely setting.

The neighborhood is quiet, and lends itself to a nice private stay. All of the houses are on more than an acre so you can expect privacy and tranquillity during your stay . You may encounter deer, rabbits, and a myriad of birds in the area.
The neighborhood is wonderful for taking strolls to take in the mountains and ocean views

What makes this property unique

This home has fabulous panoramic views of the mountains. The large deck is wonderful for anything from star gazing to evening meals and cocktails. The space lends itself to indoor/outdoor living.
