This lovely three-bedroom apartment offers a central location, close to the airport, for all that Anchorage has to offer.
The Anchorage Garden Club has featured our gardens. Comfortable outdoor seating amongst luscious flowers and herbs with fountains and Koi. If you enjoy preparing meals, you are welcome to snip some herbs for your culinary creations.
In the winter months, our gardens turn into 'light' when we install over 70,000 white lights on the property.
Moose often wander down the street and into the driveway! Bald Eagles are seen overhead.
This 3-bedroom has everything you may need for your home away from home. The home offers beds for 6/8 - 2 Queen-sized beds; 2 full-sized beds, and a full kitchen with dishwasher and a washer and Dryer... Cloud-like linen; oodles of pillows; a plethora of kitchen utensils and items (including an air-popper, Crock Pot, and a rice cooker); WI-Fi, and more. Each of the bedrooms and the living area has a Smart TV.
The home is within easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants in the city as well as grocery stores; cinemas; a public library; the largest Natural Foods store in the state; service areas; banks...You are minutes from Alaska's famous coastal trail that follows the coast from downtown Anchorage to Kincaid Park. Anchorage has hundreds of miles of bike trails.
Some of the best Anchorage dining, from excellent Thai/Vietnamese; Momma O's fresh halibut; Tommy's Stop Burger (voted the city's best); Vegetarian; Moose's Tooth/Bear Tooth Pizza; Gwennie's Alaska enormous breakfasts; Yak & Yeti; Mexican; gourmet and steaks...and our favorite coffee shops! Most of which are within walking distance from this home.

Home had everything we needed. Connie helpful and responsive. However, make sure you read entire contract.-there is some very specific language. Heat not turned on May through Sept. We needed to use blankets in the living room when watching TV. Was offered space heater at $20 per day. We felt this was inappropriate as a comfortable temperature shouldn’t be an add on cost. Was very helpful to have washer and drier in apartment.

Thank you for acknowledging the apartment had everything you needed and the manager was helpful and responsive. We provided what we promised. We provided what our ad and rental terms clearly define.
Our Rental Terms are clear. Our House Rules are outlined, in our Rental Terms and on the website. A guest must agree to them before accepting the reservation. These guests not only agreed to the rental terms, they even took the added step of signing them and returning them to us as an attachment.
There is nothing hidden in what we expect from our guests and what we agree to provide. It is unfortunate these guests lowered our rating for something they could have prevented by simply following the rules they were fully aware of before booking.
The problem these guests have spoken of, and for which they've lowered our review rating, were solely of their own making. The guests did not read the contract, or more importantly, they read the contract and house rules and chose to ignore them.
They had brought other people onto the property who were not on the reservation.
These guests received a largely discounted rate - nearly $200 per night off the regular rate ($1600 discount.). They chose not to reserve the electric heaters. The additional fee would have been $160 for their entire stay.
They said their elderly mother was a bit chilled. We presented the option of electric heaters. They refused. Their elderly mother being chilled wasn't worth the $160. :)
The guests arriving in this apartment the same day Gretchen and her family checked out, asked for fans! This is why we offer options for our guests - it gives our guests the freedom to chose what they want/need.
This family spent 75% of their Anchorage vacation inside the apartment. We would hope our guests, not only have a comfortable stay in the apartment but would enjoy the city and all of the beautiful sites - hikes- restaurants -animal viewing - gorgeous views from Point Woronzoff or a meditative walk along Potter's Marsh nature area - all within 10-12 minutes from their Anchorage home.
