Host was very welcoming and accomendating.Stayed December 20 - 23, 2025. Wonderful intimate cabin for two. This was our second stay. Located close enough to Chattanooga but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of the Tennessee River Gorge. Thank you for wonderful stay.Bill and Kathy
The cabin was so quaint and cozy - lots of spectacular views. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy the cabin more. The host was super nice. My son left his favorite pillow case and the host mailed it back to us!! Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Thanks for being our guest you're welcome back anytime. Now that you are part Tennessee River Gorge Island Family you have a free day coming with a two day paid stay. Or you can give it to family or friends. Glad we could get the pillowcase back to your son. Sincerely,
Chuck Hart
The cabin was not situated on the main river as described and implied in the description and map. Instead it was on the other side of the island facing the backwater - very deceptive advertising

It is sad you are a barefaced liar. With all the humbly received wonderful reviews we have on the property we get a drunk like you that called five times the entire month before you even got here, abbreviated every call. And we're told that it was on the backside of the of TRG Island because you wanted a two person jet tub on the porch.
Lovely setting. Lots of wildlife. Friendly neighbors.

Chuck and Brad we so nice and helpful. Lots of quiet time to listen to the sounds of nature all around.
The log cabin was absolutely gorgeous, and the views were amazing. Billy was a great host, anything that we needed or had questions on he was a call or text away and was very quick to respond. We will be returning for sure sometime in the future! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quite getaway from everyday life!

Unpretentious relaxation
Proprietor was friendly and engaging, Cabin 2 was well appointed and just right for a family of four with 2 young kids. Enjoyed the canoe and kids loved fishing for bluegill off the small dock just outside the door.

We boated from Huntsville to these secluded little cabins just outside of Chattanooga. The property manager was very helpful and assisted us dock and undock our boat. We used the supplied canoe to explore the Tennessee River Gorge and hike Racoon Mt. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

An adorable, clean wee cabin in an idyllic setting, run by impecable hosts.
My girlfriend and I sought quiet and simplicity and found both in abundance here. The cabin is cozy and well equipped and very private. Billy was quick to respond to our questions and happily dropped us up the lake for a leisurely paddle back to the island. We are already planning another stay in the fall. Many thanks Billy and Brad.

relaxing and beautiful!
The scenery could not have more amazing. We were all laughing at the road to get there, but Wow! was it worth it! The cabins were exactly what we were expecting and the owners went out of their way to make out trip special. We were there in the beginning of August. Would love to see it in the fall!
