Well located but description not match
It was so exciting to get to Bs As. After traveled for more than 13 hours finally we got in the apartment. It was very disappointed to arrived to a place that was dirty and not even have clean sheets (they smell bad), we had to wash everything before go to bed. By the time we want to heat something in the microwave we noticed the unit has a thick layer of dust and grease all over, we cleaned it too. We had to mopped the whole apartment because we are allergic to dust and we couldn't stand the running noses and itching eyes.
Finally was time to sleep, but we realized the ACs were not working. I called Eric and he told me to use an old dirty fan he had there which stopped working on the second night and he had to come to fix it so we can use it on our third night. The people in the other room has no AC so we had to share the fan to be able to sleep at night (we were 2 in a room and 3 in the other room, and one night 4 in the same room). It was uncomfortable for the people sleeping in the other room to sleep with no AC at all, that room was too hot because it was crowded.
Other than that the apartment has a good size, is very well located. You are close to everything and because the location, you have an easy access to the most important avenues.
I enjoyed with my family going out everyday and take buses to explore the city.
My last comment is that besides the badly advertisement that the apt has AC (when the truth is they are not working) and pay for a cleaning service that didn't happened (because the dirtiness in the apartment show you that nobody has cleaned it in a long time) it was nice to be able to communicate with the owner (Eric) and have all the questions answered.
Only one question was never answered: to give me a partial refund because the lack of ACs and because I was charged for cleaning service and the apartment not clean. Not only I wasn't receive any answer on this, the owner blocked me so I can not be able to get in touch with him, even when I got 5 starts as a guest.

Vanesa,
I don't understand your message. Tania (the one who booked my apartment) has my cell phone and my whatsapp number. She sent me a lot of messages before travelling and to prepare the stay in Buenos Aires. I never blocked her and I replied all the messages I received.
All the apartment (sheets and towels included) is completely cleaned after each guests. Sheets and towels are sent to the laundry service. Since two years than I rent it, I never received a complain about the cleaning.
I don't understand why you didn't mention the problems you wrote in your message during the check in or even during your stay or during the check out. Tania was happy when she left the apartment as I always asked my guests if they had a nice stay.
About the air-conditioning, one bedroom has an AC and the other one has a fan. It is written in the description of the apartment. The (one) AC is working perfectly. You called me at the beginning of your stay, not for the AC but to fix the fan, and, I went at the apartment to fix it the following day (it just needed oil to turn well).
To finish, I recalled you that your sister booked my apartment for 4 guests and you were 5 guests (6 guests the last night). I did a discount for that but perhaps you are not aware as it is your sister who did the booking and always communicated with me.
Sorry for my English, as you know it is not my mother tongue.
Regards,
Eric

Wonderful apartment in Monserrat
We had a very nice stay in this beautiful apartment in the neighborhood of Monserrat in Buenos Aires. The apartment is nicely decorated, has a lot of room with its two bedrooms (even for 4 persons) and there is always a fresh breeze if you open the windows. Sitting on the balcony or spending some time for a drink on the rooftop terrace was fun. The noise from the street only comes a little bit into the living room, the bed rooms were absolutely quiet.
The apartment was clean and well maintained. Everything looked like on the pictures.
Close by you have restaurants, bakeries (very tasty!!!), fast food, supermarkets, everything you need for your stay. To the main tourist attractions it´s just 5 to 15 minutes to walk, the subway ("subte") station is also close, plus you have a lot of public buses.
The owner, Eric, was very helpful and react within minutes if there is a question or problem. He also had valuable hints and info on where to go, what to see etc.
Overall Buenos Aires was an awesome experience, and the apartment was just perfect.
