104 Taos Court. enJoy (formally Mac & DD's) is the perfect place to enjoy a fabulous beach vacation. Located on a quiet street on the west end, you will find dazzling Gulf views from the deck. Inside you will find a well appointed kitchen with french doors leading to the deck. The living room features high ceilings and tons of natural light with light walls and tall windows. In the open floor plan living area, you will also find comfortable couches perfect for conversation and movie night! The primary bedroom is located downstairs and has a king size bed and a private bath. Upstairs you will find 2 more cozy bedrooms and a shared bath. Plenty of room for everyone. The island- wide bike trail is right at your back door, perfect for morning strolls. A charcoal grill is provided. Your dogs are welcome.

Great stay!

This house had everything we needed. We stayed with our teenage kids and my parents. We enjoyed the access to the beach and also spent a lot of time on the deck. We had a great week in Dauphin Island.

It was dirty. Needs a good cleaning. The shower in the master is horrible. There is no place to sit that is comfortable. The couches are so bad you can barely get out of them. They are also very dirty.Kitchen chairs were also uncomfortable to sit in. The house was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the views were awesome.

Beware!!

Our family just stayed one week here and wish we could have changed houses. This place is very run down. Don’t you dare walk on the deck without shoes on. Everyone got several splinters. There is spindles missing and loose so be mindful of that with little ones. The couches are just gross, very old and stained. Could be a great rental but, needs lots and lots of improvements.

Room for improvement

We were able to check in early and were greeted with kindness. However, our stay was marred by issues, including a power outage on the second day. Normally that might not be a huge concern for the time of year except, the temperatures were hovering in the 30’s. We also had a non-functional fireplace and heating system. The heat completely went out the last night we were there. Communication with the property manager was initially responsive but later lacking. We sent several messages and either received minimal response or no response at all. Despite the beautiful location, we were disappointed with the lack of care and concern shown, especially given what it cost to stay 7 days. It didn’t seem like our basic need to be warm was of anyone’s concern. We frequent Dauphin and always have a great time no matter what. There are just a lot of things that need to be worked on at this particular house.

Great family beach house

This house is not new construction. It is not high end. If you are looking for the Ritz this is not your house. If you are looking for a perfectly located, comfortable beach house where you can bring your kids and dogs without the stress of constantly worrying something is going to be broken - this is your place! Could the house use some updating, yep. But our family love the room, the bed space, the large family room area, the kitchen space, and the decks! The decks are spectacular! Remember, you are at the beach! Being outside is why you rent this house!! The house is where you’ll spend a few hours sleeping and eating. If we come back to Dauphin Island we would not hesitate to rent this property again! House Positives * location, location, location = A+ * plenty of space for everyone * beach side and bay side decks/ views * smart tvs * clean * easy rental process/communication * washer/dryer (very important with kids! Ha ha!) * safe location Upgrades Needed * the master shower works fine, but is VERY small for a large person * the upstairs bathroom could use a new shower insert * the ceilings in the master bedroom could use some attention * the outer siding could use some attention Overall, the house could use some cosmetic work, but we didn’t notice it that much as we were outside at the beach or exploring the island the entire week. I would recommend booking this beach house!

Great Fall Break Family Vacation

Great house for relaxation and family time. We love DI and this house was great. Just steps to the beach where we caught a 27 inch redfish, a 3 foot blacktip shark and huge 35 inch redfish (plus the typical hard-head and sail catfish). Boys kayaked in the ocean and saw sting rays and dolphins. Sunrise and sunset can't be beat. We loved our stay at this house on beautiful DI. Already planning a trip back to the island in December

I've had better!

I love Dauphin Island and will be back, however will never stay in Mac & DD's again. Never had allergy issues while at the beach but this house is layered in dust. The cabinets were so full that we had no place to put our food. We had to clean the oven so that we could use it and the grill too. We have never had this issue on any prior stays! Other than that, we loved our visit as usual!! Dauphin Island...#1 in my book!!

Great location, quiet island- great restaurants. On beach so feels like you have a private beach -- public beaches are far away from the house. Plenty of common space room and patio access.
