Apartment "Identity"

Dear guests,
Welcome to Identity, a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Zadar, Croatia's one of the oldest and one of its the most beautiful cities. Our fully equipped apartment is placed on the ground floor of our family house in Zadar historic centre, Poluotor, or Peninsula. We are only 200m away from famous Morske Orgulje or Sea Organ and Pozdrav Suncu or Greetings to the Sun installation, and the same distance from all other historic attractions. The Apartment is fair new, open in the spring of 2017. It has got a Bathroom, Living room with kitchen and huge L type sofa, and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Outside of the apartment is a beautiful flower garden, through which you enter the apartment and where you can relax in the sun, drink the morning coffee or have a meal you prepared. Right next to the apartment is the garage for your advantage, where you keep your car during your stay (garage is very rare on the peninsula and to find a parking lot during the summer is a very hard task, next to impossible).
The advantage of our apartment is its position on the Peninsula. In the epicentre of all, in the quiet street with no cafe bars or clubs with blasting music late into the night. Here you can enjoy your stay in comfort and silence, while having everything within a few minutes of walking, including an endless number of restaurants, fast foods, coffee shops and bars.
In one of those restaurants, you will have a pre-paid, a la carte or American breakfast that is included in the apartment price fee.
"Identity" offers free WiFi, air conditioning, bathroom heating, and household amenities such as Electric kettle and a dishwasher, flat-screen TVs (seating area and bedroom).
The nearest airport is Zadar Airport, 11 km away (transportation from/to the airport arranged and free of charge).

Great Spot for Exploring Zadar

The host truly understands hospitality and offers one of the best experiences for guests on this app. The host is extremely friendly and helped us throughout the arrival and departure process. The apartment is a 3 minute walk to the Sea Organ and 4 minutes to the forum. I would go back every year if I could. Truly the best place to stay in Zadar.

Tomis and Alex were gracious hosts. The apartment was absolutely lovely. Location was in old town with the added bonus of a garage for your car. Lovely garden to sip your glass of wine. This property could not have been better. By far the best vrbo we have ever stayed in.

Wonderful Stay

Tomislav was the most friendly, generous host you could imagine. Set in a pretty courtyard, the apartment was perfect for our needs. We even arrived to fresh fruit, pastries, and other delicious treats. The only negative is that the experience was so good, we may have trouble finding future accommodation that comes close to this. Our stay in Zadar was simply enchanting. The apartment and courtyard was so charming. Tomislav was a kind and generous host. Spending time with him was the most memorable part of our travels to Croatia. We are so glad to have met him, if only for a few days. Our only regret is that we only booked 4 nights! Amazing hosts!

Our hosts were one of the highlights of our two week vacation in Croatia. From coming to get us (we got lost on one of the the side streets), letting us use their garage, welcoming us to an impeccable and fully furnished apartment with its own courtyard, making calls for us and helping us extend our rental vehicle, they were truly amazing hosts. The location was ideal and the property beautiful. Exceeded expectations!

Our experience staying at this gorgeous property topped any expectations we had! Wonderful experience

The property was lovely and centrally located. The apartment was first rate and extremely well appointed. Amazing!

Tomislav was amazing. Picked us up and dropped us off which was greatly appreciated. Full refrigerator and welcome bottle of wine. Perfect apartment and awesome location. Close to everything but secluded enough for quiet evenings. Strongly strongly recommend this property for your stay in Zadar. He deserves 6 stars!

The host with the most

The apartment is beautiful and has a large deluxe bathroom with a washer. It’s a big one bedroom suite. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable, from fruit , to fresh pastries, beer , wine, cheese, meat, candies, nuts etc etc. Outside is a lovely private patio. Location is A+ In old town. Plus it has parking! The host is incredible. You really need to stay here.

I don't typically leave reviews, but have to say that Tomilsav was one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with. His attention to detail and kindness is unparalleled. We only stayed in the apartment for one night, but wished we had planned to stay longer. The apartment is beautifully decorated, very central to all attractions, and had everything we could ask for and more. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Croatia. A Moment of Bliss

I am not sure where to begin. Think the best you can imagine and then end up with everything exceeding your expectations. Apartment is fabulous, having all you need - and more. Location is perfect for exploring the old town. And when travelling with car carage is a big bonus. There were also fresh bread, fruits, drinks and lot more waiting for us. Best Place for a couple in Zadar

without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed at a VRBO. The property was perfectly located. We could walk to everything. The host was exceptional!! Basically, this is the best place we've ever stayed. Tomislav is just amazing. He could not have been more generous and helpful. It's not often you arrive at an apartment with a fully stocked fridge including birthday cake! The apartment has everything you could need (including secure parking). It is stylish, modern and immaculately clean. Perfectly positioned in the old town and just a minutes walk from the sea organ and beautiful sunset views. Perfection!

Ljiljana and his wife were the perfect hosts. From driving and parking my car in the garage down the skinny Zadar alleys (I couldn't), to making restaurant recommendations (the best was few steps away), cleaning my car windshield before I got back on the road to a very nice local liquid house warming gift, simply perfect! Location, location location...perfect, in the heart of old town and a short walk to anywhere you want to go. The property is everything it is described to be but the pictures don't do it justice. Zadar was my favorite destination in Croatia and these accommodations had everything to do with it.. I can't wait to get back and only hope this property is available when I do.

Fantastic Apartment with the most wonderful Host!

Tomislav's apartment in Zadar is absolutely perfect! It is in the best location for exploring Zadar and is one of the nicest VRBOs that we've ever stayed at. But even better than that, Tomislav is the most incredibly generous and kind host we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The kitchen was stocked with food, wine and drinks but the best part was getting to know Tomislav .. he is an incredible person. In such a short time of knowing him, we consider him a friend. From 13-20 April, we got to know a wonderful new country. But the fact that the vacation was so incredibly beautiful was not only due to the natural and urban beauty of Croatia. No, first and foremost, our great vacation experience was based on the 24/7 availability of our host Tomislav. We have been on many vacations in our live and have stayed in many apartments. But to find such a top-class gem in the heart of Zadar, to meet such a lovely host who was always there for us but was never intrusive - unique. We are convinced that Tomislav has not only redefined hospitality for us, but will hopefully continue to do so for a long time. As sad as the end of our vacation was, we are looking forward to a special vacation next year - to our home in Zadar!

The best of the best

The accomodations here are amazing! The interior design work is meticulous...even better than the photos. Even better, the design work has wonderful family background that warms the heart!. The location is perfect with everything in historic Zadar within easy walking distance. However, as many have stated, the great apt. Identity is far surpassed by it's host, Tomislav. From the moment we met there was an instant connection that will, hopefully, continue long after our stay has ended. We consider Tomislav to be a true friend and we enjoyed many long heart felt and enjoyable conversations. To say Tomislav is a responsive and generous host is a serious understatement. We miss him already!

This apartment and host was superior to all the properties we have stayed in . The apartment is immaculate. It is so comfy and has everything you could possibly need. Bonus parking( if needed). Super large, comfy bed, quiet area. Beautiful and private outdoor gardens. The host has outdone himself with thinking of everything his guests may need with so many welcoming and beautiful touches . The apartment is very close walking distance to everything in the Old Town (restaurants, sea organ etc). But the true highlight is the host himself! If you stay here, do yourself a favour and take the time to sit and chat with Tomaslav. We have never met such a kindhearted and wise man. Our conversations with him was what we remember the most of our stay in Zadar.

Best vacation rental experience EVER

Where do I begin? The property is absurdly clean, beautifully decorated, and in a fantastic location. But believe it or not the real star is the gracious host Tomislav! Not only did he personally greet and escort us to his home, he stocked the entire fridge and pantry with items for us! We both have never experienced such generosity and abundance from a host. He was so ready to help for any concern, and just a lovely person to chat with. His property is meticulously maintained to the most minute detail. We cherished our time there. The parking, high water pressure shower and washing machine were added bonuses. What a lovely experience, I can not recommend highly enough.

Absolutely THE BEST!

We were never in doubt of our decision on where to stay in Zadar. However from the moment we met Tomas we were blown away by everything he and his apartment had to offer! Every single part from the accessories in the kitchen, the fine touches in decorative style, the stocked refrigerator, to finally the awesome bathroom are extremely well thought out with your pleasure in mind! Now couple that with the most gracious host who simply put is an amazing human being. He can assist with any need, or leave you alone whichever you desire. We, however, suggest you get to know someone you will call a lifelong friend. If you don't book this apartment you miss the opportunity of a lifetime. We will be back!

It's been a privilege to me to host another amazing people, full of happiness, who has entered in to and will stay in our hearts for ever. Unfortunately a such a short stay has prevented us to have more time together to chat and walk around Zadar. Thank you Evan and Raleigh for being a great guest. Your satisfaction is our happiness. The best stay EVER!

Staying in Tomislav's apartment in Zadar was the cherry on top of our honeymoon. We had an incredible time! We were greeted at the coach station by Tomislav who is the kindest, most hospitable person you will ever meet. On arriving at the apartment, Tomislav had arranged for a massive selection of fruit, fresh food, meat, cheese, baked good, wine, beer - you name it, it was there! Including a bunch of flowers and gifts to celebrate our wedding. The apartment itself is amazing - beautiful decor and absolutely central location. Everything you could ask for in your stay. If youre looking for somewhere to book in Zadar stop reading this review and book it right away! Tomislav goes above and beyond to make your stay 10/10 - we will remember it forever. We cant wait to return to Zadar and spend more nights here, and seeing Tomislav again soon! All our best, Bradley & Lucy

You are amazing couples and you deserved all of it, and much, much more. The time has restricted us to achieve ultimate goals, adventures in ours National Parks, visiting the islands etc. We keep that for future that I believe will come. Thanks to destiny we met and praying for will do it again my dear guests.

I am the age of 70 and I grew up in my (this) family house built by my father in 1962, where we dedicated part of the ground floor for the rental apartment for tourists. All the life I live here. My childhood, my youth life and eventually happily married a man I grew up with on the streets of Zadar. My husband as a Ship Master has spent 45 years on the sea and we have two grown-up children and two granddaughters. I and my husband are retired and decided to give part of our life occupation to welcome people who like to visit our beautiful city.

Why they chose this property

All house is built of stone blocks and was completely refreshed from outside two years back.
The ground floor of the house has been adopted as a guest apartment.

What makes this property unique

My father had spent 10 years of hard labour to built the house, almost all by himself, especially regarding stone masonry craftsman and mostly everithing else. I grew up and watched him doing it what made an unbreakable bond with this place and family values.
This place is special for us and to all our guests so far, who had become attached to it, and many of them had sed they had filled a bond to it as well.
