Nestled on a quiet street in the heart of the esteemed Montecito Hedgerows, the estate boasts of expansive gardens, outdoor fireplaces and swimming pool, grand livingroom with fireplace, cozy family room with fireplace and garden views, sun room, uber charming master bedroom & bath, and seductive kitchen and barbecue set up that will make you never want to leave. Minutes to Montecito beaches, hillside hiking, downtown restaurants and theaters.

The maximum capacity of Villa Flora is 6 adults

This fabulous property is located less than an hour away from the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara Wine Country and is owned by Bryan & Lisa Babcock of Babcock Winery. Guests receive complimentary tasting at the winery and discounts on their acclaimed wine during their stay. If you can’t make it up to the winery, but would like to have some Babcock wines during your stay, we are more than happy to deliver them to the House prior to your arrival.

We have rented high end private homes around the world for years. This one is a big winner! Restful, elegant, beautiful. Rebecca the property manager is also 5 star - professional, prompt, knowledgable. We plan on going back - the sooner the better! If you want to spoil yourself, go here!

thanksgiving stay

The property and grounds were lovely; unfortunately, it rained most of the time, thus we were not able to enjoy the outside. We were disappointed that the 4th bedroom was not a bedroom; only a sofa bed and not blinds or curtains on the windows... We also would have liked more hanging space in the master bedroom and more than one hair dryer for 3 bedrooms to share... The home was charming, the bedrooms were what were lacking!

A lovely home!

What a breathtaking home! We had so much fun! We didn't want to leave.Upon arrival the host described every room and shared details about the large outside area. She was also very helpful in answering every question we had.This home is so beautiful. We were so taken, there was such care in the placement of furniture and decorations. The kitchen was excellent; we cooked almost every evening. The primary suite was away from the other bedrooms and very quiet. The guest rooms were wonderful, and our friends complimented the comfort of the guestroom beds.The outside grounds were perfectly maintained along with the pool which everyone enjoyed. We used one of the fireplaces outside several times and had dinner and lunches outside for most meals. We walked to the upper village and down to the Ocean and into Montecito. A perfect location and very quiet. This home had everything, and we look forward to sharing it with others in the future.

A Balm for the Soul

We stayed at this property in mid-March, and it exceeded our expectations. The property is exquisitely beautiful -- there are marvelous outdoor seating areas, a heated pool, and landscaping that delights the eye at every turn. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There was lovely art everywhere. Bedrooms were comfortable, beautiful -- we rested very well. There were good wines from Babcock Vineyards awaiting us, and check in was a breeze; Rebecca guided us through all of the ins and outs of how to work various things. There was a problem with the television when we were there, which took a few days to resolve -- but Rebecca managed this very well, and they refunded a portion of our stay in response. Overall, I could not have been more delighted with the quality of experience provided by this beautiful space and by Rebecca's excellent service.

The property and 1927 Home capture the beauty and atmosphere of Montesito. Moreover, the owners have furnished the home in a wonderful and fantastic way. Very eclectic , and the photos on line are really just a sneak preview. The grounds are beautifully maintained. A full 1.3 flat acre, with outside fireplaces to set the mood. A wonderful barbecue area, which looks over the pool . There is also a wood burning grill, for even more sophistication. Obviously we loved it! We will return, if there is any availability.

Beautiful grounds, eclectic and charming home, and the hosts were kind and accommodating. The neighborhood is ideal - close to beach, stroll to Montecito shops, perfect climate. Wonderful place!

Stunning Oasis Villa Great for Groups

Close to Santa Barbara lies this private villa oasis that makes you feel like you are living the dream. Our group of 8 was very comfortable in the 4 bedroom home, with generous living space and charming interior decor everywhere you look. The outdoor space takes it to the next level, with beautiful landscaping and gardens all over the property, not to mention the multiple fire places for relaxing with company. We didn't want to leave, and were entranced with the private slice of paradise. Looking forward to the next visit.

Stunning

I rented this property for a family weekend getaway. I wanted to make sure we rented a property with enough space to spread out and relax and this house was that and more. The vast garden space seems more like a relaxing park than a backyard. we enjoyed the succulent gardens, bocce ball court and not one, not two, but three completely separate outdoor fireplaces each with their own dedicated sitting areas. The house is filled with an eclectic mix of cool art and vintage finds mixed in a way that makes the house feel cozy and warm. In a nutshell, wonderful inside and out, hope to make it back!
