Property was very good, clean, and we ended up with a much bigger unit (3 BR) than we had booked which was fantastic. Unit is a bit dated but well appointed and everything worked. One thing we found out is we could buy discounted lift tickets at the front reception desk which was awesome.
The location was perfect and very close To mont Saint-Anne and Saint-Anne canyon, as well as several restaurants and grocery stores. The rooms were as depicted, very clean and thoroughly furbished. The only thing missing was a sponge for washing the dishes, but other than that all the cookware and silverware were there. The receptionist was super friendly, and the access to the pool/spa area was a clear bonus. Overall much recommended and I’d stay there again.
The property is charmingly outdated, but we had all the amenities we needed and we relaxed comfortably into the ski bum vibe. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The free shuttle to and from Mont St Anne made life easier.
Tips:
1. Purchase lift tickets online before going. Note that age distinctions are different from the U.S. My teen's tickets were cheaper than adults.
2. Make restaurant reservations. Lots of good choices, but all were very busy when we visited, so reservations were necessary.

Hello Julie,
Love your title for your great review. As for our unit, as a family business we renovate a few units per year. This unit in particular is on our short list to change the kitchen, carpet and sofas. We appreciate your comments and hope we can welcome you in the future for another Ski bum vibe vacation with your kids. Enjoy the rest of the season! FYI we just got 40 cm of fresh snow yesterday and it's still dumping now ! Come back anytime ;-)

Positives:
1. Quiet place close to nature and many things to see.
2. Can host many people.
Negatives:
1. Needs AC for summer usage.
2. Basement seems damp and it looks cheap. I would certainly remove the rag on the floor, install inexpensive composite floor, and update the beds located in the basement. Also installing a modern HVAC would help to remove excessive humidity.

Thank you very much Mikhail for this review. It's always important for us to have good criticism and improve ourselves. Usually we don't have any problem with the heat in this condo but this summer is particularcly humid so we installed a humidifier after seeing your advice. The reception is here for any trouble, if you could have come to see us during your stay we could have done something for you.
Thank you, Pauline
We stayed as a family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) plus our dog in this nice condo. Kitchen was adequate but small. Space enough for the four of us but I wouldn’t want more people there. Nice location. Easy check-in. We had a issue with the dishwasher that was addressed promptly. Definitely recommend and will likely stay again on our next MSA trip!

Thank you for your comments Nancy. It was a real pleasure to welcome you. Melissa
Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit at the end of January. Nice and close to the hill. Kitchen had everything we needed. Fireplace was great to have and the beds were comfortable. The one thing we learned is they keep the hot tub at 95 degrees through the day. We made sure to turn it up when we got back from skiing. Took about an hour and a half to warm up to 100. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We will definitely stay there again with no hesitation. Staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful.
Europe’s old world charm comes alive at Chalets Montmorency owned and operated by me former Mont-Sainte-Anne ski school director (1985-1988) John Barclay, an avid golfer, a Granddad who works with my wife Gisele and my two daughters, Jessica and Melissa; with skiers needs in mind. We make sure your stay here has no disappointments and is comfortable.
I have lived in this beautiful part of Canada since 1969 and decided to stay 1st as a ski bum later as a property owner with wife Gisele and my 2 girls who work side by side with me now.
It is a year-round vacation village, composed of six Swiss-style buildings, that offer guests a unique experience with beautiful views of the Mont-Sainte-Anne and the surrounding countryside, as well as a relaxing indoor pool and whirlpool
Why they chose this property
This unit is awesome for families with larger number of kids, they have their own room with a TV & lots of space so parents can enjoy a nice time together upstairs while the kids can have their own space.
What makes this property unique
