 4BR/2.5BA - BR1:1K, BR2:1Q, BR3:1Q, BR4:1F&1T,  IT'S OCEAN FRONT!  Enjoy the great views from the open sun deck while enjoying the exclusive west end of the island. Open living and kitchen. Breakfast bar, Enclosed sun porch, WIFI, HVAC, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Cable TV, Hot/Cold outside shower. 4th bedroom with sitting area is ground level accessable by interior stairs and has an exterior door entrance. No Pets. No Smoking. Linens included in weekly and less than 7 day stays only. 2 night minimum rates available in Value/Spring and 3 night rates available in Resort seasons. Please call our office to inquire. Check-In: 3-5PM, Check-Out: 10:00AM.

Moby Dick

it was perfect to two people, we could have brought another couple comfortably. we had a great time, great location, the internet was good, large tv's, lovely deck facing the ocean we will be back next year for sure!

Less than satisfactory

First the positives: great deck and ocean front beach access. For spending time on the deck watching the waves and walking the beach this is a great place. The negatives: house is old and needs updating. Only has full size and twin beds. Dishwasher is ancient and about half size. Kitchen is poorly stocked. No large pots and no toaster. Lower level smells musty and overall house was dirty. Vents caked with dust and dirt. Refrigerator has broken shelves and drawers. One of the twin beds fell apart and we used a rope to tie it together. Back door stuck and won’t close. Very disappointing

The house was not clean! And needs updated!

The house was not clean from floors to countertops. We washed the bed comforters before we used them because they were covered in sand. The floors was sandy and sticky. The house is in terrible condition. The stove and dishwasher needs replaced. They should not advertise a dishwasher! We didn't even attempt to use it. We cut oven on the first morning we was their and saw flames!! So we didn't use the oven anymore all week. Location is great!!

Funky Feng shui

The Location of the home was amazing. However, the house itself had a lot to be desired. I understand the house is on the beach, but a few coats of paint, some really deep cleaning, new furniture, and some updating would make a world of difference. One thing that truly turned me off, was the presence of black mold. I live in Florida, so I am familiar with mold and how hazardous it is to your health. All in all I did have a great time because I was with family.

Private and an excellent get away!

The house is older and needs an update but overall is spacious and was a very nice stay. Family of 8 had a wonderful time. For a mid July vacation the beach was not crowded at all. Very few people which we really enjoyed. Was a little hard to cook a big meal with the stove that is there. Definitely needs a better stove, but we managed. Could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Found things under the couches and beds. Would be nice to replace the full beds with queen size. Definitely not use to two people in a full bed. Overall a wonderful first time to Oak Island and will definitely be back!

Moby Dick

We enjoyed our stay. However, the Property is listed for 8 yet the table seats only 6 comfortably and there are only 6 chairs. After confirming with the owner, we took from home a card table and two folding chairs.

Great location

The location was great! Beautiful view of the ocean. The house was very clean. It is an older property, so the air didn’t work well. Many of the windows could not be opened, so it was difficult to get air circulating. I would be concerned about heat during the summer. My husband and I are used to a queen sized bed, so the small double bed was too small for us. In spite of this, our family had a wonderful weekend at the beach and played games together!
