About this property

This beautiful cabin is rented with pride! Cabin is clean and updated with
new carpeting and new furniture on a private, peaceful street. Fully
furnished, two bedroom, one bathroom. Sleeps (6). Can sleep (8) with the
new La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa. Appliances (including washer and dryer),
linens, kitchenware ... everything you need to make your vacation
comfortable and convenient. The cabin also has a new gas fireplace, an
attached deck with propane bbq grille, a community fire pit with wooden
swing, picnic table and chairs.

From the INCLUDED dock on the property, go one direction to access Mullet
Lake and the other direction to access Burt Lake! Also, there is a public
boat launch conveniently located just a few blocks away.

Enjoy the sandy bottom inland waterway lakes with over 10,000 acres of
enjoyable boating, swimming, tubing, and fishing. Nearby lakes and rivers
to swim, canoe, kayak or just sit by the shore and relax! Also near
several state parks and beaches.

Close to downtown Indian River, Cheboygan, Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Harbor
Springs, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island for all kinds of different
activities.

Great location for access to Mullett lake

This was our 2nd stay and enjoyed as much as the 1st one. The weather was not the best with Gale warnings on the water. This location provides great shelter for your boat so it doesn't get beat up on a dock in the middle of the lake. The fireplace was great after a cold day on the lake. The cabin is great Thanks for another great stay

We absolutely love staying at this property. It's so clean, great location, and the owner is wonderful to work with. We bring our 20' boat and dock it out front and can be to either downtown Indian River or Mullet lake in 15 minutes via boat. Don't hesitate to stay here!! It's the perfect up north experience.

Peaceful cabin on our favorite river!

Quick family vacation in our favorite spot! Beautiful cabin, great neighbors, cute little stream through the property that our kids loved! Nice dock spot for our 20' boat. We would definitely would stay here again! Thank you, Scott!

Why they chose this property

Sitting on the deck and listening to the trickling water, watching the kids look for tadpoles in the creek, watching the boat coasting by from a distance and wishing that this vacation will never end. That is what our cozy cabin is all about. Stocking up the coolers and jumping into your boat, which is just steps away from the cabin, and enjoying the day on the Inland Waterway. It doesn't get much better than this!

Fun game night around the awesome "tree" table and sharing family memories. Bedtime means climbing into the log beds to the quiet of up-north solitude.
