Summary:
This unique property is situated on the clifftop along side the Lighthouse with spectacular Eagle Rock views from living, dining and kitchen areas and two of the bedrooms.

The Space:
This three bedroom house sleeps five and has garage access into the house. You will feel like the Lighthouse Keeper you're so close. This is a very popular rental property. Aireys Inlet has magnificent scenery and is the home of the Split Point Lighthouse. Settled in a bush setting its beautiful beaches are nestled between rocky cliff tops. Aireys inlet is adjacent to Fairhaven which is ideal for swimming, surfing and offers 8kms of pristine beach ideal for beach walks through Moggs Creek to Eastern View. The Great Ocean Road stay, relax, enjoy our coast.

location is outstanding, neighbourhood to lighthouse with many visitors well tolerable.Various organisations/weblinks behind the property kind of confusing for overseas visitors/guests: Stayz? Greatoceanretreats? Regionalescapes?But apart fantastic place.

Girls running weekend

5 friends stayed for the running festival as has been our tradition for the past 10 years. first time at this accomm and loved the exceptional views and cosy living space.

Great location

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and believe it has been improved.The property is modest with a fantastic view of the ocean and lighthouse. Comfortable accommodation an updated kitchen and well resourced with crockery and utensils etc..The light house cafe almost opposite is a winner as well.A few minor issues no dish cloth the pillow protectors need replacement but overall we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The ultimate coastal stay !

The location of the house was awesome .Even although there was a steady stream of tourists past the driveway ,we had quiet and privacy in the bedrooms and living area.We enjoyed the 24 hr view of the ocean :watched from beside the fire on cooler days .We had evertyhing we needed by way of appliances and comfortable couches and chairs .It would have good if there were a few tea bags ,coffee sachets ,sugar and a small long life for our arrival .We did however love our welcome gifts Only down side was the lumpy beds that needed a freshen up with new mattress covers and pillows .We had our own sheets towels etc .We would stay again because the location is amazing and we were quite comfortable overall and love Aireys Oh yes !Wonderful Cafe across the road for hot drinks and good food

Amazing Views Cosy Fireplace

Best ocean view on the cliff! When it’s raining we could still enjoy the ocean from the couch. Fireplace made it very comfortable and warm. Should have read all the property info, no linen, laundry powder, towels etc. There was food under a bed in single beds room, cobwebs spiders and beetle, hair on shower wall, cutlery drawer had crumbs and hair stuck in it. Tea towel had carrot or dried vegetable on it or something. Nothing another clean wouldn’t fix! Would stay again if we return to the area. It’s a great spot.

Location and view are fantastic, short walk to beach and shops.

Kitchen was clean and well equipped, unfortunately dish rack was so old and rusted out could not use it, toilet brush was dusgusting needs replacing ASAP. Small things that can be fixed at a small cost. Bed was very comfortable and clean. The house has the best view ever! and the sound of the ocean is so relaxing you can forget all your worries here.

if you come for the view, this is for you.

Two star accommodation with a great view. You’re paying for the view, don’t expect too much in the accommodation. Everything works and the property managers are quick to get essentials fixed. However, all lounge furniture is old. Dinning chairs are loose/unstable, couch is not clean. Under couch not vacuumed. If the previous guest does not sweep and vacuum, then the cleaners don’t. Window and door knobs are broken or fall off in some rooms. Lounge floor is polished chipboard. All ocean facing windows are usually dirty (sea mist covered) and need to be cleaned by the guest if you want to enjoy the view. Coastal bushes are sometimes too high to se the view, you can look over them to see the ocean in the distance. Tourist visiting the lighthouse next door can look down in to the property, or look straight in to the main viewing window of property when they are standing at the lookout. Ants love to vacation here too. Probably because of the location and poor cleanliness habits of previous guests.

We Absolutely Loved Staying Here

Amazing to wake up to a beautiful ocean sunrise streaming into your bedroom each morning. Wonderful to gaze out to sea from the comfort of the lounge room. And such a great spot from which to explore beautiful Aireys Inlet, especially the walking trails and beaches. We'll be back!

Perfect location

We loved staying so close to the lighthouse and enjoyed the view. Also nice to be able to wander across the road to the cafe each day.
