Beautiful, cozy 3-br 2 bath lakehouse with great view of the marina and lake in prestigious Cape Royale (24 hr manned guardgate) with boat-ramp and access to Lake Livingston, just steps from the marina with huge two-level porch! Sleeps 5 comfortably (air mattress also available). Quiet, security-controlled, with all the comforts of home, nestled between beautiful Lake Livingston and Sam Houston National Forest! This one has it all, pet friendly, access to golf course (please note that the golf course is currently closed, will advise upon reopen date), playground, swimming pool (a one-time $50/family fee applies), tennis courts and a beautiful nature trail! There is a dedicated fiber optic workstation with ethernet connection, dual monitors, and wireless keyboard and mouse in the master bedroom for the busy professional. Abundant deer and other wildlife, it's a bird-watcher's paradise! Comfortably appointed, adorably decorated, and fully stocked (starter Kcups, condiments) for your convenience, includes washer and drier, cable, WIFI, variety of dvds, streaming smart TVs downstairs and smart blu-ray upstairs, and games including dominoes, CAH, monopoly inside. Grill, firepit, cornhole and furniture outside! Fenced in patio for pets! Fish, swim, float, boat (slip available for $10 a day), or just relax the days away. Kayak and fishing poles are available for your enjoyment upon request.

Lovely Lake Getaway

Weekend at the Cape

Excellent place for a quick weekend getaway with friends. Comfortable, clean and the owner is very helpful and inviting. Great patio to sit on and enjoy the view and nature. Definitely will be back again.

Relaxing Long Weekend

This cozy bungalow has everything you need for a great stay. Bbq pit, patio, nature and a beautiful lake around the corner. We took our boat and went out to Pine Island. Rode out to Chazers and enjoyed lunch.

Fun, peaceful stay

Karen was wonderful to communicate with. Her place had plenty of space and everything we needed. The community was very quiet and marina close by was nice for some fishing. We also had fun going to a classic car show and market in the cute downtown area.

Perfect getaway

Excellent property and great neighborhood! It is well-stocked with everything you would need from grilling utensils to coffee pods to cleaning materials. Everything is very clean and neat and stylish. Unique layout with upstairs master bedroom. Convenient access to boat ramps and marina. Just a lovely place to stay!

Cape Royale Visit

We enjoyed our stay at Harbour Home especially sitting out on the deck having wine every evening. Karen was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and helpful with our questions. She also left a nice welcome/gift basket for our stay. We will be returning in a couple of months.

Weekend Getaway

This is a very cozy property. The check in and out process was very easy. The porch was one of our favorite places to sit in the evening. Only negative would be to provide better pots and pans for cooking, more plates and possible steak knives. Karen was very responsive to our questions.

Beautiful and Peaceful Lake House

The family and I had a great time at this lake house. It was clean and very well kept inside and out. We really enjoyed the double balcony with a great view of the lake. There was plenty of space for our puppy to safely play. The community was is very peaceful and safe. We will definitely will be back to take in more of the amenities in the house and the community. Lastly, the owner Karen was extremely helpful, accommodating, and quick to respond to our every request. We love this place and will be back.

Return Visit - Birthday Celebration

This was our 2nd time to stay at Harbor House. We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday and relaxing with the nice view of the marina and lake from the living room area and both decks. The house is a short, walking distance from the marina making an evening stroll near the water a daily event in the peaceful neighborhood. The owner, Karen, is great to work with! She left treats for our dog, birdseed for the feeders, and some wine for my bday! The house was very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with items needed to prepare meals during our stay. We hope to stay again in the spring!

Great long weekend getaway

We chose to go for a long weekend to get out of Houston. It was an easy drive and when we got there it was a super easy check in process. The property is as advertised and has a nice view of the marina area off the deck. The community is really nice to and it’s an easy drive to Coldsprings if you need food or other resources. I would recommend this property.
