Great location, needs some updating
Location was great, about a 10 minute walk to shopping/restaurants.
Property management company was easy to communicate with and responsive. Offered “discounted” rates to extend our stay.
The Royal Palms had amenities like a heated indoor pool/hot tub which were great for the colder days. If you are planning to use the gym- be advised there is only 1 treadmill and 1 bike. No weight equipment. The outdoor pool does not get much sun, it was shaded most of the day and not heated.
The condo itself- very spacious. Plenty of room for our family of five and had great views. The balcony could not be beat! Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/plates etc. Definitely plan to bring your spices as the pantry only has salt and pepper.
Unfortunately there were a few things in need of updating. Not necessarily deal breakers but a condo with this price point should come with some standard amenities. For instance, the linens were awful. From bedsheets to towels…all were worn and scratchy.
Bedroom carpets were dirty. Our feet were black as soon as we walked on them, even right after a shower. Likely this is just from years of wear and folks tracking in sand, I get it, but pack your slippers!
Bedroom tvs had cable only, not a deal breaker, but smart tvs would have been nice.
The 2nd bedroom didn’t have blackout curtains which was tough on our teen for 7am sunrises.
There wasn’t a broom, we had to borrow one from a friend we traveled with.
Overall a good stay!
