Sandpiper 3B has been lovingly renovated and will very comfortably accommodate you and your family! The master bathroom features a walk-in shower with glass doors. Each room boasts new furnishings, recessed LED lighting, and new wall-mounted televisions in the Living Room and Guest Bedroom. The kitchen includes a brand-new refrigerator.

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool(The pool is generally heated from March 1 through November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

A nice ourside heated pool at Orange Beach, an open to public athletic track accessible, a 3 levels building that is very human including an elevator. Fantastic!

The room was clean but the master room only had a full size bed for two adults would recommend putting at least a queen size bed in. The property was nice and we meet great people there. If we return will request a room on the end near the ocean for a better view

We regret not making you feel welcome on check in. Check in is between 3 and 5, as stated on your confirmation. As your condo was a turnaround, an early check in would not have been an option; however, we were happy to have been able to get you into your great condo at 3:34 pm. The master bedroom has a queen bed, as does the guest bedroom. We're glad that you enjoyed yourself at this great property and with the friendly Sandpiper guests and hope to assist you in booking your next visit to the Gulf Coast - hopefully, in one of the beachfront units!

Toilet lid underneath was soiled with excrement even though there was a ribbon around the seat saying it had been properly cleaned. Kitchen floor still had debris in a few areas. And, one of the living area chairs was missing the bottom front left leg.

Not quite what we thought

While we booked this last minute, I was surprised to see that the pictures and description didn’t really convey this property. There is no balcony in this unit. There are front areas with two chairs and two small tables. This is a three story U shaped condo building with all units facing at an angle inward to the courtyard and pool. Only beachfront were on the ends of the U. While it stated it was ocean view that was simply not the case unless you walked up to the rail and leaned over. This was a courtyard view. The amenities in this unit were extremely sparse and I’m guessing that was due to covid but no hand soap in the bathrooms, the toilet paper and paper towels were the lowest level you can purchase, there was no dish soap provided or any leftover plastic wrap, etc. The living room chairs are unbearable to sit on. The bottom of them appears to be about to let loose. The wifi was weak. This condo unit is not close to much. So no walking to restaurants or shopping. You just drive. On the upside, the condo is very roomy, and decorated well. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was heated and extremely nice. The beach area is beautiful, wide and an easy walk. They have carts for your luggage and a nice big elevator. It was quiet at night. Many families were there during our stay so expect the pool to stay busy. The grounds were very well maintained and people were friendly and respectful of social distancing.

Sandpiper is a very family-friendly property with a great communal atmosphere, due to the shared decks and open courtyard views. Unit 3B is nicely furnished and decorated, providing lovely surroundings for any family of six. Starter packets of toilet paper and soap are provided for all guests, enough for the start of vacation. Sandpiper's location of 1.5 miles from the main intersection in Gulf Shores provides families with the convenience of an easy drive to restaurants and attractions, but the nice seclusion on the beach for optimum relaxation.

With three kids this causes a little confusion and unneeded stress. This issue was reported ASAP... but didn’t get fixed until last Friday when we check out Saturday. Seem like Bender is dropping the ball on customer experience and quality of making it the best experience. On the positive side we love staying at the Sandpiper we come every year!

Sandpiper 3B is such a terrific unit in which to enjoy the Gulf. The property is so friendly, and the condo has everything a family would need for its stay. We surely regret that the microwave stopped working and understand its effect on a mother with young children. We did report it right away but were tied to the time frame in which the appliance company was able to replace it. We certainly hope that, other than the microwave, you were able to enjoy yourselves and welcome the opportunity to assist you in booking your next Gulf Coast getaway!
