LJ Hooker South West Rocks welcomes you to The Osprey House. A Quaint two bedroom, modern house right in the centre of South West Rocks, a short stroll the beaches and shops. This house is just lovely with everything you need for a fantastic holiday in paradise.

South West Rocks pristine beaches and Central Business District are within a three minute drive of the property. The local boat ramp is approximately five minutes from the property and The Rocks Shopping Fair housing shops such as Coles, Liquorland and The Reject Shop is within a five minute drive.

South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.

The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Most of our accommodation is centrally located to the town centre, beaches, restaurants and facilities.

Proximity to Everything

We stayed in winter great property for being close to everything… you can literally walk to all the highlights. Accommodates a small family nicely. Lots of general use items were available at the property, possibly from previous holidayers eg hand wash, dishwasher tablets, foil etc. Only complaint… the hot water wasn’t turned on so no hot water til the day after we arrived. There was also no information folder for the house eg the one that would tell you where the hot water switch would be.

Good location

Nice clean and tidy place. No air con could be an issue in summer especially in the loft bedroom but does have windows to catch the sea breeze. I would recommend staying here. It is as advertised. The very basic items are supplied (more than I was expecting though) and there is no wifi.

Very nice stay

Great place to stay!! Small place but big enough for a weeks stay. Park the car and walk to shops, beaches, pub and club. Very convenient. Not a problem for us but needed to take own bed sheets, towels etc. no WiFi at this property. Not a complaint but would be nice if a few basics were supplied (salt and pepper, cooking oil, paper towel, pretty much have to take everything along those lines) but really did enjoy our stay and would stay here again.

Great location. No extras. BBQ filthy.

Great location. Evidence it had been vacant for some time as there were cobwebs and dust. BBQ was so dirty it was unhygienic and unusable. No extras - have to take sheets, pillowcases, tea towels, towels, bath mat and everything for cooking and cleaning. Plus don't forget extra toilet paper.

Lovely spot

It was a lovely stay, great location, easy walk to town and the beach. No real issues. I would just note that there is no aircon and that you can't park a boat in the driveway like we thought, it's too small.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Gorgeous cottage, spotlessly clean, fresh, open. Highly recommend. Close to beach, shops, river - what more could you want! Super comfy beds too.
