Mountain View cabin is a beautiful ALL log cabin situated on a 1-acre lot with plenty of level parking in a secure gated community. Located just 2 miles from Fall Creek Falls State Park.
This nicely appointed cabin is very well stocked with everything you will need for a great stay. Many extra amenities in the kitchen allow you to prepare all of your meals with ease. All your linens are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The lower level contains the living room area, kitchen and dining area, a bedroom with an in suite bathroom. There is also a half bath and laundry area with washer and dryer for our guests to use.
The living room area contains 2 full-size sofas, a large recliner and a large flat screen TV with satellite and local channels, along with a DVD player. For extra sleeping, one of the sofas contains a queen size sleeper. In the evening you can cuddle up in front of the beautiful stacked stone gas fireplace and watch an amazing sunset from the picturesque windows.
The kitchen area includes a dining table with 6 chairs, a large bar with 4 bar stools and is equipped with an electric range, a large microwave oven and a garbage disposal. Placing settings are sufficient for the recommended occupancy. All supplies such as paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher and dishwashing liquid are provided. Cleaning supplies and laundry detergent are also provided.
The lower level bedroom has a very comfortable queen-size bed, a large chest with mirror, a 32" flat screen TV along with a DVD player.
The upper level includes a master bedroom, bathroom, closet and a loft seating area.
The large master bedroom includes a very comfortable queen- size bed, in suite bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub. The master also has a TV with satellite and local channels, along with a DVD player. There is ample storage for clothing etc., in the large wardrobe and closet.
The covered back porch has a lovely space for outside dining with a dining set for 4. There are also rockers and children's rockers so everyone can enjoy the beautiful back yard lined with trees such as oaks, maples, magnolias and hemlocks. Be sure to enjoy the outside fire pit and roast hotdogs and smores! If you love to grill, choose from our gas or charcoal grill located on the covered back porch. If you want amazing views you will love the front deck that overlooks the beautiful rolling grounds of the Cumberland Plateau. Be sure to get over to beautiful Fall Creek Falls where you can enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, pool and watering holes to cool off in on a hot summer day.
Falls Creek Falls State Park offers an Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park is home to 21 waterfalls, 4 suspension bridges and lakes. Other hiking favorites are: Savage Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls and more. There are also multiple local fishing spots, backroads and walking trails to explore.
