A Natural Beauty
Set in the heart of a most beautiful part of the world, The Nest, is the perfect place for relaxation. The home is renovated tastefully with everything you need. The view from bed is a highlight and the hammock outside is a treat. Wildlife abounds with pademelons welcome daily visitors. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. Highly recommended.
Description accurate with friendly and timely communication.
Tastefully furnished and well appointed accommodation. Lots of little touches including well appointed kitchen and bathroom made our stay easy and enjoyable. Close to Eaglehawk Neck bracket and activities. Good quality and great value accommodation. Will stay again and happy to recommend.
So glad you enjoyed your stay with us Dale, thank you for your great review. We would be happy to welcome you back anytime.
Eaglehawk Neck has an abundance of historic natural features including The Blow Hole, Tessellated Pavement , Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen. There are many amazing picturesque walk of varying degrees of difficulty but all taking in the breathtaking coastal scenery. The nearby white, sandy beaches are ideal for swimming, surfing, fishing and a variety of other water activities.
Port Arthur Historic Site, Australia's leading tourist destination, is a 25km. Here you can walk among through ruins and take in the history of Australia's first convict penal colony.
The Remarkable Cave and its stunning coastline and out to Cape Raoul, is a further 3 kms away and well worth the short drive. The Three Capes Walk is also located in this iconic wilderness area as well as the award winning Pennicott Tasman Island Cruises, an absolute must do in my opinion !!
For keen surfers, Ship Stern bluff and Roaring beach are both within a 40 minute drive of Eaglehawk Neck.
Let's not forget the mountain bikers. There are a myriad of mountain bike trails and roads scattered all over the Tasman Peninsula wilderness for you to explore.
With so much to see and do in this beautiful, rugged, mostly untouched piece of Tasmania, you will not be disappointed with a trip to this majestic place. Come and see for yourself !!
