About this property

In Tuscany, at the seaside, close to art cities and wineries. Free parking

The little town of Castiglioncello, once a set for Macchiaioli's paintings, is a nice, relaxing place. My family owns this apartment from the eighties, and we have enjoyed silence and coolness every summer. This flat have two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other two single beds; a living-room , a kitchen, a bathroom. You enter from the common garden with a two-ramp stair; another stair inside the flat lead to a storage room. A private parking lot is inside the garden, but you may also easily find a parking nearby. It takes 10 minutes on foot to reach the sea, but on summer there is a public bus service. Rocky beach, blue sea.

About the host

Host profile image
I grew up studying art in Florence and spending my free time at the seaside. Now I am living in a little town and I work in a school.

Why they chose this property

This house has been used by my family as a summer retreat for thirty years. It was the ideal place for my parents who both suffered of allergy and respiratory diseases. The climate in Castiglioncello is cool and the air is clean.

What makes this property unique

You will not mind the absence of air conditioning, because the house is in front of a pinewood
