We loved the house, location, and horses. Only problem was the bugs! Two huge wolf spiders in the bathrooms, ants in the kitchen, and moths in living room.
We had a wonderful time. The place was clean and we had enough beds for everyone. The highlight of our stay was being with family and petting the horses. Thank you!
Nice little place to stay and close to downtown Orange and Gordonsville with great food and such. Would recommend if you are in the area and looking for a peaceful getaway and relaxing stay.
This is just a lovely place to visit. We are sorry to only stay here a night at a time up to now because we are just passing through. We hope to return in future for a longer stay. The cottage is simple and lovely. Well cared for and the views are just stunning
This property was beautiful. The staff and owner were very nice and answered any questions we might have had. Couldn't have asked for a better family get together. Kids had a blast petting the horses and seeing all the animals. Boys loved the fishing at the ponds. Thank you for making our weekend together memorable.
Loved the porch and horses and donkeys right outside our window!
This was such a perfect first stop on our roadtrip. Bucolic and warm. We played games on the porch and pet the horses and decompressed in the back yard. We will be back for sure!
If you’re planning to visit this place, don’t hesitate — it’s the perfect getaway from city noise, with lots of wildlife and pristine, beautiful nature! I’d give it 10 stars, but that option doesn’t exist
