Imagine having: Five bedrooms, three and a half baths, and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen and dining room, to allow you and those you love to relax and celebrate together indoors and out on this working family farm. A guest favorite: the council ring made of ancient stone benches with a firepit for your family to enjoy sunset, fire, moon and stars...all within view of the house. Upstairs in the master suite is a jetted tub for two with a skylight above, with a shower and a private stargazing or sunbathing deck adjacent.

Beautiful autumn weekend

This quiet and very well decorated farmhouse is in the lovely orange county. We stayed there during the recent steeplechase race. It would be a perfect venue for wedding functions and trips to Vineyard. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful wine country retreat

Beautiful wine country retreat In the Rollinghills of orange county Virginia. We visited steeplechase very convenient location and a lovely property both inside and out. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend this property

Engagement weekend

Our family traveled to Virginia to celebrate the surprise engagement of our son. The Wildwood Farm home was absolutely perfect for our 4 generation family of 7, plenty of space and just a beautiful location. The hosts were very accommodating and accessible if we needed anything. We highly recommend Wildwood Farm.

We farm this beautiful valley in the historic Barboursville-Somerset-Scuffletown area. Beef cattle keep the pastures open for views, and forest is managed for timber, wildlife conservation and recreation. All 7-night stays are the same price as 5, year-round. This modern farmhouse is perfect for extended family and friends. Coordinating friends and family travel schedules, and booking less crowded and more economical flights becomes much easier with this flexibility. Our aim is your ease and relaxation.

What makes this property unique

You won't find a more central location for all you do while here in Virginia. CHO Airport is a half-hour away, UVA and Woodberry Forest School a little further, and a half-dozen fine wineries and wedding & event venues within a half hour. Shenandoah National Park, JMU, Massanutten and Wintergreen ski resorts are within easy reach.

And, you may want to simply sun on the deck, sit on the porch, play piano or walk on the farm. A luxurious deep jetted tub for two is upstairs in the master suite, with a private sunbathing deck steps away. Rolling hills in view, spectacular sunsets, a wonderful kitchen for cooking with a grill just outside, and plenty of space to feed a crowd, indoors or out, help you all relax and celebrate together.
