Welcome to our Eclectic Cottage.

2 double bedrooms, fully self contained kitchen and laundry. No dryer washing must be put on clothesline.
Full bathroom with separate shower and a beautiful deep bath. The open plan lounge and dining will make your next holiday full of relaxation and comfort.
Located 5 mins from the airport, we can assist you with transfers if required.
Directly opposite Burnside park where you’ll find a lovely childrens playground.
Walking distance to bus routes, supermarket, restaurant and bar, tennis courts, Burnside bowling club, Antartic Centre bus line and many more

Absolutely incredible place to stay. Home away from home... except it's better than home! EVERYthing we needed at our fingertips, washing machine, fully equiped kitchen, beautiful shower, INCREDIBLY comfortable beds... best sleep we've had in years....and amazing hosts. Thank you Sharon and Merv for the BEST week ever and your amazing hospitality. If we come back to Christchurch you'll be first on the list! Highlights of our trip and must do's was the Antarctica Centre, The Britten Motorcycle Museum (incredible), Tram ride through town, Supercar drivers ceremony on the Avon River, Up the Gondola for lunch amazing views! New Brighton Pier and Supercars at Ruapuna... If there's ever a motorsport event at Ruapuna it's well worth going.

We booked the Eclectic cottage as we needed a base for visiting our family that was close to them but as we were staying for a while we needed somewhere which provided all the comforts of home & this certainly did. Sharon was very welcoming & couldn’t do enough for you. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Sharon is the consummate host. She greeted us with open arms when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was excellent - had everything that we needed. The only one problem is that we could only stay one night as we were returning home the next day. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Christchurch for a visit

Feels like Home

Sharon welcomes you with genuine hospitality! Everything in her unit is well organized, immaculately clean and comfortable. Many thoughtful touches such as simple kitchen staples, breakfast items, and local restaurant menus. There is a well-outfitted kitchen with dishes/pots/pans, couches/chairs/nice dining table, and an outdoor patio with table and chairs. The beds/bedding/towels are comfortable and fresh. The location is across the street from a park for a walk on the walking path or to play on the playground. We were there in the summer and enjoyed Sharon's beautiful garden and potted plants on the porch. It is a short walk to a Christchurch metro bus stop going downtown and in a nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend!
