This spacious cabin features updated appliances and furnishings. The home is was complrtely remodeled in 2022 with all new furnishings and appliances. One bedroom and one full bath plus laundry facilities on the main floor. Bath features a luxurious a walk-in shower with rain shower head and body sprayers and heated floors. Two bedrooms and one full bath on the upper level. Upstairs primary bedroom has a large king bed, electric fireplace, smart TV. and a river view private balcony. The ski themed bunk room has a triple bunk, 2 twins and a full sized bed, and smart tv. The main floor guest room has a queen bed and a cozy rocking chair for a quiet place to enjoy a good book. Spacious kitchen - well appointed with 3 coffee makers (pot. pod & French press) toaster, griddle, electric pressure cooker, pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, wine glasses, etc... New Frigidaire fridge and range with built-in air fryer. . The cabin is equipped with high speed fiber optic WIFI for all your streaming needs.. Large deck with new (2023) hot tub, outdoor dining and living areas, covered gas grill and Ooni pizza oven. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit or relax in the hammock and hear the sounds of the roaring Wenatchee River. Located just 7 miles from Lake Wenatchee and 16 miles from historic Leavenworth this home is ideally located. You can hike, bike, swim and float in the summer and ski, tub, snow mobile in the winter. Charming Cabin!

My husband & I, along with another couple went to Leavenworth to experience the Christmas lights. The lights were beautiful and the cabin was so festive & charming….all decked out for Christmas!!! The kitchen was very well appointed, beds were comfortable & the setting was away from the hustle & bustle of town. It worked perfect for our winter escape!

Mountain getaway

Great cabin in Ponderosa community near Plain, WA (about 35 minutes to Leavenworth). It was decorated just beautifully for the holidays. It was cozy and inviting. Loved our stay!

Did not use the hot tub. House was relatively clean. Found toys under the bed. Would’ve been real nice to have a roll of paper towels. Dishwasher was not fastened to the cabinets. Some of the pans were not scrubbed. Found food residue in them. The beds were comfortable. It rained during our stay so using the patio was not an option. There was no propane available for the pizza oven or the bbq. I brought pizza ingredients because the description of the house touted a pizza oven. We arrived after 6 pm so running to the store for propane was not an option. When we arrived the thermostats were at 80 degrees, too warm! We enjoyed our stay, these were the few things we noticed and might help to make the next renter’s stay a little nicer.

Beautiful stau

The distance from Leavenworth was more than expected, but it was a pleasant surprise especially because of the high temperatures. We made good use of the outdoor area, super relaxing & very quiet. It as a wonderful stay!

Lovely mountain stay!

Place is very cute, charming and has all the amenities we would need. Check in and communication was easy and great. Really nice kitchen and rooms. Only complaint is it wasn't as clean as we are used to for a vacation rental. Overall we would stay here again and do recommend it!

A little nugget of heaven!

Wow, this place is so peaceful! The cabin was so comfortable with every amenity provided for. I loved how quiet it is in the area -- the sounds of crickets at night, sounds of the river, sound of the wind blowing in the trees. We loved playing in the river and swimming in the river in Leavenworth. I love this cabin so much and cannot wait to return!

Great Cabin Escape

Perfect getaway

It was the perfect spot for us to unwind and do nothing. We were close enough to things to do but really enjoyed just staying at the retreat. Owners had thoughtfully decorated for the holiday season and it looked beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet setting. Our only regrets were we didn’t book longer!

Absolutely beautiful place

The house is outstanding. Awesome property, great layout, awesome amenities, lots of room for a group of people. Rented it for the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends 30th with a group of friends. We absolutely loved it and would definitely rent it again in the future.

Wonderful House for a Getaway

We stayed here for our end of summer trip and it was all that we hoped for. The house couldn't have been cleaner, was in a great location, and was comfy to hang out in. The house was also recently remodeled and is beautiful. There's 3 areas to spend time and hang out - the house, the deck, and around the fire pit. So many options! It's right across the street from Wenatchee River, very close Lake Wenatchee, and there's a lot of hiking within a short distance. We would definitely stay here again!

New Year's Retreat

We stayed over the New Year holiday. The cabin was decorated for Christmas, and it was absolutely lovely down to every detail. The master bedroom is spacious! The Mickey Mouse bedroom has a full size bed as well as two twin trundles - super cute. Well stocked kitchen, and beautiful views from all the windows. Hot tub was amazing in the snow. I would highly recommend!

Cozy cabin!

Had a few days in this darling cabin. Very comfortable for a family of 6. Had everything we needed. Very clean and decorated for Christmas. Dana was really thoughtful about potential weather/access issues and offered flexible dates. Would recommend bringing chains if you don’t have 4 wheel drive or traction tires. We needed chains to get out if the neighborhood.

Beautiful Home With All You Could Need!

This was our second time staying, as we love this property so much. There are many little touches that make this a great stay - the yard games, the heated floors in the bathroom, marshmellow station for smores, a well stocked kitchen, and extremely comfortable furniture. Dana is excellent at communicating and accomadating. We will definitely return.

This property was AMAZING! The owners thought of everything, including the snore maker for when the burn ban was in effect! There were so many cozy spots to relax outside and in and everything was very clean! We loved the tiny little details like the bird feeders to watch birds and the fairy garden with tons of cute little scenes! We loved the hot tub and the pizza oven too! It was a wonderful place for our family weekend in Leavenworth.

Great family get a way

Great place to escape and enjoy the peace and quiet. They have a little playground not far from the house. The backyard is very serene and quiet. Would recommend to bring if you enjoy the outdoors

We are long time Washington residents. We love to travel and visit places near and far. We fell in love with the Leavenworth area and especially the Ponderosa Community. We are looking forward to making many memories there with our children, grand children, family and friends.

Why they chose this property

After looking for a vacation home for over a year we found this wonderful property. The owner's built this home for their family in 1989 and you can feel the love and warmth that they poured into it from the moment you walk in. We were instantly drawn to it.

What makes this property unique

The home has a open floor plan. Your whole family can gather in the dining area or sit in the big comfy sectional. It is a wonderful place to reconnect with extended family or just cozy up for a couples retreat. The backyard faces the Wenatchee River. You can roast marshmallows around the fireplace and listen to calming sounds of the Wenatchee River. There is ample seating on the deck and around the fire pit.
