About this property

Luxury Escape- surrounded by Aspens- 2 King beds!

Feel like you're in the woods near the Canyons base at this spacious two-story log cabin town home! With over 1900 square feet of living space, this roomy home is the best location in the Timber Wolf community, instantly transporting you to a peaceful place, close to everything you need, yet remote enough to feel like a real getaway. This is a perfect location in any season for families, couples, relaxing getawys, skiers and groups who want to explore all of the beauty and recreation that Park City has to offer. Our location is prime, nestled among a grove of Aspen trees with a running stream that curves around the property.

The family room features a stone fireplace, cozy new leather furniture, board games, a 55' flat screen HDTV and Bluetooth sound system.

In the kitchen you'll find granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, pots, pans, crock pots, blender, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, tons of baking utensils and supplies, spices and condiments and two sets of dishes and glasses. Perfect for entertaining!

Step out onto the private deck perched among majestic Aspen shade trees, set up for dining, birdwatching, reading or grilling on the propane BBQ.

Tasteful wall art throughout includes a 12' aspen photo in the 22-foot stairwell, and the three bathrooms feature luxurious towels, skin and hair products and blow dryers. There is an indoor washer and dryer too.

The large bedrooms all feature vaulted ceilings and HDTVs. The Master bedroom is huge and has a king bed, seating area, private bath with jetted tub. The second bedroom features a brand new king bed and shares a bath with the third bedroom, which has a full bed and two twin beds. All beds are comfortable with 100% cotton linens and new pillows. A Pack and Play and Queen air mattress are onsite as well!

The Timber Wolf community is not huge, so you can enjoy a peaceful setting including two community hot tubs, outdoor fire pit, gazebos for picnicking, lush wooded surroundings, secured underground parking for one designated guest and additional outdoor parking, private ski storage, kids snow toys and easy Canyons Cabriolet gondola and hiking and biking trail access. Wildlife abounds everywhere, and moose spotting is not out of the ordinary (we found a baby moose drinking from the stream just a few feet from our front door!).

We are located just steps away from Park City's free shuttle stop, which will take you to the Canyons, Park City ski resort and Old Town Park City which is less than 3 miles away. Plus, you will find yourself a short walk away (take the trail behind the property) from The Canyons gondola (open year round) for skiing in the winter and hiking and biking in the spring, summer and fall. And new since 2016, The Canyons resort and Park City Mountain Resort are connected, creating the largest ski resort in North America! Olympic Park is nearby for inner-tube/sledding adventures, year-round ski jump exhibitions, zip-lining, rope obstacle courses and the luge. Snowshoe and cross country ski on nearby trails. Ski the Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley Resorts in the winter, or take your bike up the lifts in the summer or autumn and ride down. Hike or bike for miles on the areas 400 miles of trails just steps from your front door. Grocery shopping and amazing restaurants are super convenient. Walk to an historic coffee house and gift shop located just two blocks away. Exploring options include fly fishing, rafting, canyoning. rock climbing, hiking, biking in the summer and winter sports include skiing, inner tubing, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, dog-sledding, cross country skiing, soaking in warm mineral hot springs inside a real crater, and more!

It's all here! Any time of the year, this is the ideal place to unwind, recreate and make memories. Perfect for two families with children and roomy for couples and relaxing retreats.

Perfect Ski Getaway
Absolutely wonderful stay in a great property. Every touch was well done and every need met without ever having to ask for a thing. Much more room than our family of three needed. We hiked to the gondola in boots with gear each day with no issues. I would remember to pack sandles and a robe next time for the hot tub walk.

Great Spot in Park City
Great 3 night stay at this VRBO. It's in a very central location near the Ski resort/lift. Hot tub was nice to come home to after a long day out on the slopes. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!
We had a great time at the property! It was very inviting and had a wonderful cozy cabin feel. The kitchen had everything needed to cook and the bathrooms were well stocked with towel soap etc. We used the hot tub which was very nice after a long day of skiing and not too far from the home. We did have a difficult time finding the path to the Cabriolet lift. Luckily a neighbor helped us out but it would be great if there was a little map in the welcome booklet. We hope to visit again in the future!

Great location just a couple of minutes from Canyons resort base
Great location, and well stocked. Excellent and responsive host. The cabin’s layout was nice and functions well. Beautiful to see the sun come up through the Aspen trees out the kitchen window. It could use some updating to brighten it a bit, new main bathroom shower head, and blender didn’t work properly. The garage and driveway setup are on an angle and were tricky to maneuver. Overall, we had a good experience and a great time. Thank you!

We are a family who has always dreamed of having a place in the mountains. And now that we do, we'd like our friends, family and anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to vacation to enjoy our special city-close woodsy getaway. Welcome!

Why they chose this property

This area is the "best of the best!" It's so easy to fly into from anywhere and a mere 30 minutes' drive to the slopes from the airport! Vail Resorts also just purchased the Canyons ski resort and in 2016 has connected it to Park City Ski Resort and others to create America's largest ski resort! We can walk to the gondola that takes you up to the Canyons base and ski lodge from our property. The Park City and Canyons areas enjoy a well-run community that has everything one could hope for when looking for a memorable vacation. At approximately 6900 ft, the elevation is not as high as a lot of other resort communities, which makes for easy acclimating. The roads are well-maintained during the winter and the snow is like no other place on earth. There is a lot to do here every season of the year from festivals (including the ever famous Sundance Festival) to fly fishing, biking, hiking, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing or just relaxing in cozy surroundings and doing nothing at all!

What makes this property unique

We knew we'd made the right choice after looking for a long time at many surrounding areas and condos, when we were visited by a baby moose right outside our front doorstep the first day after we bought this condo. He was there to drink out of our stream, and welcome us to the neighborhood, of course! The former owners took impeccable care of the place and it was (and still is) in great shape. Built in 2000, it is newer than a lot of places in town, and it includes a lot of upgrades and amenities. Sit for a spell on the forested back porch and relax for a while. Maybe a moose will welcome you. too!
