"Hill Country Haven" is 3 Bedroom, Hallway with 6 Bunk Beds, 4 Bathrooms and is over 2100 sq. ft. It is a one-story located on top of a mountain with gorgeous views of the Hill Country. The home is not wheelchair accessible. It also has several step downs throughout the home. You can watch turkeys, fox, deer, roadrunners and a wide variety of bird life from the patio. This home will accommodate 10 people. It is located 1/2 mile to the 4th Crossing on River Road, minutes to the "Horseshoe" on the Guadalupe River and Whitewater Amphitheater. It is less than 10 minutes to Canyon Lake where you can enjoy boating, water-skiing and sailing. There is extra parking for a boat. The Guadalupe River sits 1/2 mile away. You can go to Rio Raft at the 4th Crossing or Little Ponderosa Outfitters at the Ponderosa Bridge for renting tubes and shuttle service. If you enjoy live music, Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Icehouse and Gruene Hall are just a short drive. You are only 15 minutes to New Braunfels and Gruene where you can enjoy Schlitterbahn Water Park, Comal River Tubing, Wurstfest, Gruene Market Days, shopping, wineries and great restaurants. Just a short 35 mile drive to San Antonio is where you will find Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World and the Riverwalk as well as great restaurants. The Alamo along with several other missions are located in San Antonio for fantastic day trips. Wimberley is only 25 minutes away where you can enjoy Wimberley Market Days and shopping. For you golfers, there are courses located in Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos and Austin.

For renter's information, our property has two security cameras for the sole purpose of security. Hill Country Haven has a Ring camera on the front left of the house to record the driveway, and a Ring Doorbell located at the front door. No cameras invade guests' privacy.

Successful guys’ weekend

Fantastic second visit

This was the second stay at this property and it was just as awesome as the first visit. First of all, the home was perfect for our group of guys. There were more than enough beds for everyone. Even the beds in the bunkroom were super comfortable. The kitchen was clean and full of everything we needed for the meals we cooked. The best part was the outside space and the back patio. The views are fantastic. Vicky, the property owner, is very responsive and so easy to work with. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time, the property has the best views while coming packed with plenty of things to do at the home! Wedding Trip

The property was great and very well priced considering how nice and clean it was. We found they took time to make it entertaining as well (in/outdoor games, sound, tvs etc). The furniture was well thought out and comfortable. The outdoor space has amazing views and was great for hanging outside and plenty of covered space for hot days or rain. We had 8 adults, and the bunk area was pretty well laid out. We would definitely stay again.

Hill Country Haven HEAVEN

Our family of eight, aged 18-77, enjoyed a relaxing, beautiful, comfortable stay at Hill Country Haven. The home is packed with everything you could possibly need or want (including a high chair I saw in the laundry area). The water pressure is incredible…we all loved showering while we stayed here! lol The location is perfect, far enough out that you are in nature and can relax but close enough that a short drive gets you to shopping and hill country fun! Any questions we had were quickly answered in a friendly and polite manner. We 10/10 recommend this rental!

Beautiful!!!

This house is absolutely beautiful from the interior to the exterior. The view from the back patio is stunning! The house is very roomy. The owners are quick to respond and gives you all the information that you may need. It’s a perfect spot to stay at, easy to get to, and not far from the Guadalupe River. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Pictures do not do this place justice. It had everything to accommodate us. It was one of our favorite places we have stayed at. Pure relaxation and comfort. Highly recommend if you want a hill country setting close to town. We will be back.

Weekend getaway

This home is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. It has plenty of room, tons of amenities, a location that is convenient to tubing and boating, and is just a short drive into New Braunfels for live music and great food. We played for hole in the lighted backyard in the evenings and enjoyed watching the deer and foxes outside while we drank our morning coffee in the covered deck. This home has everything.

Beautiful House!!!

This place was amazing! Open, beautifully decorated, plenty of room for our framily, and that view!!!! We saw deer and foxes everyday! After the day at the water park or on the river, this place was great to unwind! I will definitely come back! Vicky was the sweetest to work with also! The whole process was easy!

Fabulous House!

Stunning and well furnished home! It’s close enough to town that running to the store is no sweat but high enough on the hill to not hear anything noise. The photos don’t do the backyard and view justice. We saw deer, a fox, hummingbirds, and there’s a lovely breeze up on the hill even in the dead of summer. The owners were very communicative and helpful when I couldn’t figure out the lock (user error.) we’ll definitely be back for another summer float trip!

Beautiful Hill Country with View & Deer

Had a wonderful time with our family of 6, though this property would be comfy up to 3 couples (BRs) and 6 kids (bunk room for 6). Kitchen and open LR gave us tons of room and functionality, and back deck and yard was the incredible in mornings (deer, purchase deer corn at Leow’s down the hill or Ace HW) and evenings (fire pit/s’mores and corn hole). Hosts were also great communicators and friendly. Any time we head back to hill country, we’d keep Hill Country Haven in mind.

Perfect Get Away for the Family

We loved our stay! We had family of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. The outdoor space and views were spectacular! We enjoyed the sunsets, corn hole and the fire pit every day we were there. The owners were amazing to work with as well. We visited Canyon Lake and Gruene while staying there. Great location!

We are a retired couple from south of Houston towards the coast. We enjoy spending time with our family & friends, traveling, and our time in the beautiful Texas Hill County.

Why they chose this property

We have been traveling to New Braunfels for many years and raised our children floating the Guadalupe, playing at Schlitterhahn Water Park, boating and skiing on Canyon Lake, listening to live music at Gruene Hall and enjoying everything the amazing Texas Hill Country has to offer. We built Hill Country Haven for our family's vacation home, where we plan to make many family memories and raise our grandchildren with the same Texas Hill Country traditions. We want to share Hill Country Haven with others and hope that they will enjoy and experience the same joy. Maybe even start their own annual memories and traditions of their time in the Texas Hill Country at Hill Country Haven.
